These are beautiful, comfortable and I’m pretty sure they were handmade for my feet. I work at the USPS and have worn, with no pain, for several 10-12 hr days since purchasing. I’m a believer. Just ordered my second pair of Mona Flying shoes.

Mona Flying makes really nice shoes. I have purchased loafers and boots and have been very pleased with their quality and style. I wear them with care, never getting them wet, as they are indeed expensive. I would like to give them five stars for support but for the best support I need to default to my cork insole shoes. Still Mona Flying has some really good looking styles and quite a variety from which to choose. As for sizing, I wear an 8.5 narrow and for me that equates to a 40 European sizing in the Mona Flying. For my other shoes with cork insoles, I purchase 39 narrow. But Mona Flying shoes are more tapered in the toe area and therefore I like the extra room. These boots with the strap and velcro closure are adjustable and that helps too if I want to wear heavier socks. ... show more

These are perfect, they’re cute and comfortable but after a couple wears the left shoe developed a squeak. It’s the layers of the sole separating and air being squeezed out every time I step. It sounds like I have a tiny mouse in my shoe. I can’t find the break to shoe glue it so it must be in the center somewhere. Disappointing. The packaging is really great for these shoes and you can tell that they take a lot of pride in the construction. I had to remove the shoe laces 2 put them on, and I walked around in my house with them on as they were a little snug but I could tell as I walked around more and tried different types of socks that the shoes started fitting better. I contemplated if I should go up a half size, but the more I wore them the more they started feeling like they fit the way they should. And I figured that a half size larger would probably start slipping on my heel and maybe just be entirely too long. so use the charge that they give you and measure your foot and go by what the chart says and then if you put on the shoes and they seem a little bit snug walk around your house and them for a little while. Overall I love the shoes I think these are really super cool looking and I will get a lot of use out of these. UPDATE JAN 2020:. the very bottom of the soles on the outside of the boots are now a light brown. The black has completely worn off.
