(Summary below) This lovely grey pair of brogues is my second purchase from Mona Flying; the first was a pair of brogues just like these (gray), only black. The shoes arrived in a timely fashion and well packaged. The shoebox is so cute, you know you'll keep it. These grey brogues were true to size (I wear a 9 1/2-10). They are real leather; the leather has a bit of a shine to it, and the toe and ankle have a darker brushed finish that contributes to their retro feel. There is no room for orthotics, but the inner sole can be removed, and I've used a thin, fashion-style insole in them to support my plantar fasciitis. They do fit a bit snug at first, but not unbearably so, and leather does stretch. I took time to break in these shoes. I wore them every day until they began to feel just slightly uncomfortable, and then took them off for the day. These shoes will get a crease in the leather across the top of the toes, where the shoe bends, as the foot bends. This type of leather creases. It makes the shoe look comfortable and lived in, while still looking professional and upscale. With the support of my insoles, I was able to wear these all day at an event, completely comfortable and feeling rather stylish. I wear these without socks, or with super thin anklets; there's no room for thicker socks. I’m looking forward to wearing these this Spring. I’m planning on black capri pants with these shoes, a slouchy grey t-shirt and a black blazer. I also love these with jeans, a white tank, and a grey cami, and a black pork pie hat. 10.5 Red/Black/White: I most frequently wear a 10, but since these shoes are wingtips and more narrow in the toe, I ordered a half-size up. The fit is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT—plenty of toe room and so comfortable I didn’t want to take them off!!! I was concerned that the added length and wingtip would make them look too masculine and orthopedic, but the multicolor design is so striking that the length is not noticeable. I ordered another pair immediately because comfortable, stylish, flat, wear-with-everything shoes are a rare find!! Update: As I have been wearing these quite often and love them so much , I decided to order this same pair again. The second pair was slimmer in the width of the toe and felt like a vice. I measured the area across the sole at the widest point (base of toes) and it is a 1/4 of an inch shorter which means the upper part side also smaller. SOOO UNCOMFORTABLE that I have to return them. I guess there isn’t conscientious, consistent quality control in manufacturing!!!

I’m glad I took a chance on these. They’re a beautiful shade of blue, nice quality leather, and quality construction. Last shape is wide enough for comfort in my slightly wide ball of foot, but not so wide that it slips off my narrow-ish heel. Not heavy or clunky. I’d say they’re a good value.

I love the look of these shoes and the colors and workmanship is great but.... I'm afraid they will rub my ankle bone on the outside of the shoe as the cut is too high I think. I just got them and will try to wear for a bit at home to see if I can wear them without rubbing and blistering. They hit right below my ankle so I'm going to be careful before I wear them out anywhere. I'll update then but I'm afraid I'll have to return them and I love the way they look. Update! They are OK and the leather is soft enough that they have worked out fine. I wore with socks inside and they have softened enough that I can wear without rubbing too hard. I'm so pleased as they are beautiful shoes!

love these shoes. super comfortable. im between a 6-6 1/2. I got 6 1/2. next time ill get the 6. so pretty and the leather is nice. I like the rubber sole as leather soles are so slippery. I believe someone said something about a smell. thats the oil they put on them. any bad reviews on here...idk. these shoes are great especially for the price

I have had problems finding shoes, other than sneakers that fit me comfortably since having toe surgery. I saw these shoes and just loved the look and style. But I was skeptical that they’d actually fit. I thought I’d give them a try knowing I could always return them. I was pleasantly surprised to try them on when they arrived to find that they fit great! Even in the toe box. I was more surprised several days ago when I wore them out for the first time. Taking a chance, we were walking from a hotel to a restaurant about 7 blocks away. That could have been a long uncomfortable walk had they not fit well. We arrived at the restaurant and I realized I had not thought about my shoes once. They are a definite keeper, comfortable and stylish. I think I may buy some more colors!!

There are a few things I'd note about quality, sizing, and style. First, the way the shoes are marketed is very confusing, as it is very hard to tell the styles apart just for the one picture given. I ordered the brown 3 and the leather was supple and comfortable, with a mildly square toe. I loved them instantly. I ordered a second set of these in black and although the style is different, the leather was as stiff as a rock, the toes are very pointed, and heel is crimped to grip your foot. Disappointed I sent them back and tried really hard to search through the 10 different black options to find one more like the first pair, and ordered a third. This time, they were even more pointed at the toe and just as stiff and unworkable. I'm sending them back again and I'm not sure if I got lucky with the brown or if the style is that different, but choosing the right shoe on here can be a little difficult. I also ordered a size up from my measurement for my wide toe box and to my surprise they were too big! Luckily, the padding in the shoe is almost non-existent, so I added in arches/otc inserts on top of the sole and now they fit like a glove. Without the inserts though my feet and shins were hurting within 20min of standing in my kitchen, so highly suggest getting some inserts for them if you like the style.
