It reminds me of the kind of toolbox my grandfather had, simple, sturdy, practical, and made for actually being used. The green metal gives it a nostalgic workshop feel, almost like something you would find in an old garage or on a workbench. It has charm without trying too hard. What I Like The style is very classic and vintage looking. It has that old garage, grandfather’s-toolbox kind of feel. The green color adds a lot of character and makes it look more interesting than a plain modern plastic tool box. It feels sturdy enough for smaller tools and everyday household items. The size is useful for screwdrivers, wrenches, small hammers, tape, hardware, craft tools, or sewing supplies. The handle makes it easy to grab and carry from room to room or out to the garage. The metal latch is simple and helps keep everything closed when moving it around. I like that it can be used for more than tools. It would also be cute for art supplies, gardening bits, small repair items, or craft storage. Concerns The metal is on the thinner side, so I would not use this for very heavy tools or rough jobsite use. It is sturdy for light to medium use, but not the same as a thick, heavy-duty professional toolbox. The inside is fairly simple, so smaller items may need pouches or containers if you want everything separated. I would still avoid leaving it in wet conditions for long periods, even with the painted exterior. This is a charming little toolbox if you like that old-school, practical look. I own some Toyo tool boxes and they are very nice, and part of me wants to judge this one harshly because it is very clearly made to look virtually identical to one of their models, complete with model number and a place for the Toyo name badge. But all the same they do not mention them by name in the listing, don't use their name on the product, don't stick a fake badge or anything like that. And metal tool boxes of this shape are fairly ubiquitous, and drawing inspiration is a perfectly legal thing to do. So with all that said, I think the tool box is just fine. It seems quite sturdy, and honestly it doesn't feel any less rigid than the genuine item. The paint is applied very evenly - there's one small spot (it is truly tiny) where I think I can see bare metal. All the sheet metal edges have been filed/ground such that I can't cut myself anywhere on this toolbox if I tried. The welds are solid, the clasp works just fine. The hinged top rotates smoothly and fits together square. I included a picture of it sitting next to a much large Toyo. I don't own a Y-350 so I can't compare this to the exact model they're copying. I have some sentimental attachments to my Toyos and I will not go and say anything crazy like "this is just as good" but, honestly, this tool box is quite nice. If you like metal tool boxes and don't want to pay the considerable premium for a Japanese model, I doubt it'll disappoint.

The paint/finish is nice and the gauge of metal used is pretty good. It seems well constructed for its size and the latch is sturdy and works very well without me worrying about it coming undone and dropping all my tools out. It's not huge by any means but it can be good for carrying around the necessities for any small job or be used to hold a variety of specialty tools. Personally, I prefer metal over plastic so for that, I think this is a nice small toolbox.

This is a smaller toolbox, but very adequate for keeping things in it like scissors, plant trimming tools, plant ties, tape or whatever you need like washers for hoses or hose fittings or whatever in this very secure Steele box. It is solid steel and has a locking latch on the front of it. It is powder coated green color, which is cute. There is no inside divider tray or lift out tray. It’s just one open box. It has a handle on the top two for easy carrying. Nothing is going to get destroyed inside this toolbox as it’s very high-quality heavy stainless steel. For the price it’s a great little toolbox and I’ll have it for many uses. I’m sure. I give it a big A+ and highly recommend it as it’s great quality and not a bad price.

This portable steel tool box is a retro treasure. Made of sturdy and durable steel with thick green color paint. Very bright and shiny when first received. It functions well to effectively store a variety of tools and has nice classic closing clamps. The size is accurate according to the listing at close to 15 inches long and will fit a variety of common tools.. The handle is comfortable to hold while transporting the toolbox. Very good quality materials and craftsmanship went into the construction of this classic style toolbox. Good value for the money if you want a small toolbox that has that retro feel to it.
