I am using the Moleskin Cahier Journal with the erasable Frixion gel pen and these are an excellent pair. the writing surface is excellent for writing and erasing of the pen, it is durable and has a great feel when writing on it.

I love these for sketching anatomy diagrams. I also use them to make memorable notes. Since these notebooks are not large or heavy, they are perfect for bringing to class.

Overall I really like them. Perfect size, page color isn’t too bright and the quality of the pages are decent. There is some slight ghosting but I also used felt too fineliners which I know can bleed to paper more than normal pens. I bought 2 bundles for class. The product itself is great, exactly what I needed, slim, lots of space. The 2 bundles came packaged in a clear film, the brown one was under the blue and it was covered in this sticky brown mess. I’m not sure what happened before it was packaged away, but it was displeasing to see as a first time customer. The gunk got onto the back of the blue one as well. It came off with a disinfectant wipe, but I was grossed out with the mess on the brown books. Amazing product! Just be aware the packaging itself might not be the best. ... show more
