I did some research Moissanite because I had never heard of it before receiving these earrings. Natural moissanite comes from fallen meteorites so it is extremely rare and super expensive. These earrings are lab created moissanite. They are a 9.25 on the gem hardness scale. Diamonds are a 12 on the gem hardness scale. This scale is not linear and diamonds are twice as hard as moissanites. 9.25 is very hard making the moissanite suitable for daily wear. Moissanites have a higher refractory index than diamonds, meaning they emit more sparkle and light than diamonds. They have a fiery sparkle. Moissanites are mostly colorless and can be near flawless. They came in a beautiful box, with a few purple confetti stars and wrapped in lavender wrapping paper which makes them easy to gift. Inside the box are envelopes containing 2 GRA Moissanite Reports, one for each earring stud. Each stud has its own 9 digit GRA number. I blocked out the GRA number in the photos because it mentions something about registering them for the warranty with the GRA number. I don’t want anyone to take that number and get the warranty somehow. LOL I went to the website a few days ago, typed in the number and it expanded on the information given in the pamphlet. I visited the website yesterday and today, and the the website is down. It says “403 Forbidden”. I think they need to get the website back to operating. LOL The earrings themselves are beautiful and good quality. They feel well made and do not have any weird metallic smells. I recommend these earrings. I think they make a great gift for anyone who wears gemstone earrings. I also think they are a better alternative to cubic zirconia because they are harder and more beautiful due to the fiery sparkle and how high they are on the refractory index. The photos of me wearing the earrings were taking outside in the afternoon on a cloudy day. The photo of the earrings in the black gift box were taken under a lamp on my desk.

I have barely taken these off at all since I got them except to clean them. They are PERFECT for everyday wear! I am even considering buying another pair of these in a different size just because they are such great earrings! No, they're not diamonds, but they are still GORGEOUS and they definitely look more expensive than what they are. I have worn these practically every single day and they are extremely durable. I would prefer screw backs but the pushbacks work fine. If you are in the market for some good earrings for everyday use, but don't have the thousands of dollars to spend on diamonds, then I would 100% recommend these! Oh, and my ears are actually pretty sensitive and these don't bother my ears at all.

And that's saying something. If there's something to complain about, it's my job to find it and tell you - and I am good at my job, particularly as it concerns jewelry. These come packaged VERY nicely. What does that mean to me? Upscale but not flashy like it's trying too hard. The earrings come in a slide-out box/bag hybrid, which comes wrapped in tissue paper alongside a drawstring storage bag that has a plastic ring sizer (that part is meh but could prove handy for consumers, so no deduction there), a strange sticker, and some extra (plastic/rubber) earring backs. The GRA certs are on top of the tissue paper - I might personally prefer them at the bottom, but I get it that you don't want to risk them not being noticed and therefore thrown out. No light up anything, no puzzle boxes, no fake flowers, no bougie stuff that's doing too much and might just be an indication that they're trying to distract from something. The posts and backs are stamped 925, and nothing reacts to a magnet. Both stones passed a thermo test without blinking. No issues there. The stones themselves are LOVELY. The cut is great and they fire up nicely when hit with direct light. The four-prong setting is a classic, and the size is about right for an adult woman, subject to individual preferences regarding stud size. I personally think a good pair of studs is part of a basic jewelry wardrobe, and these are a good, solid choice in that regard. I just noticed that these are referred to as lab-grown diamonds. They are absolutely NOT THAT, and this misrepresentation cost them a five-star review. Lab diamonds are diamonds that happen to be made in a lab rather than in the earth - they're chemically identical, pure carbon (other than any inclusions in a natural diamond that might contain other elements) and it takes a trained jeweler to tell the difference. Moissanite is moissanite - silicon carbide, not carbon, very, very similar to diamonds (and IMO superior in some ways), but not diamonds, full stop.

Wife loves these. They have a ton of fire more than a diamond! If you like diamonds but want something for a much much better price then go with these! I would wager to say they look even better than a diamond!

I've been unhappy in the past with cubic zirconia, and I was very pleasantly surprised with these 1 carat lab-grown diamonds. The settings are quite nice, and the earrings are comfortable to wear. Most of all, they are really sparkly, and I'm not an expert, but to me they look just like my real diamonds.
