I got this ficus plant as a gift, but it had not been trained or shaped at all. Started watching Heron's Bonsai on YouTube to learn how to take care of it. So, this kit comes with plenty of different wires and a little clipper. When done the way he says to do it, you can hardly see the green wires. This was the best I could do to make it look like an ancient tree lol.

Wire is resilient even if you think you messed it up. Kinks smooth out easily. Wire cutters are flush cut, great for clean zip-tie ends.

I like the fact that each different thickness of wire is a different color. It makes it easy to grab. You don’t have to look at the wires to see which one is thicker or thinner.

I am very satisfied with this purchase! The wire is strong enough to bend and hold woody branches, yet is easily manipulated with my fingers. The varying sizes are perfect for beginners trying to test their skills. The tool that comes with is not the highest quality, but you get what you pay for. It is sharp, pointed, and does the job well. I will be purchasing again when needed!
