My pantry door swings inward so I mounted it to reflect that. This is the 6 basket item. Here are some tips to make your assembly go easier. Use your own screw driver although a small one comes with it. I need one with a better handle to tighten that last turn. The bolts will be tight if done correctly when assembled. 2. When you put the hooks on double check to make sure the part work the basket tab hooks is facing the door otherwise the hooks will be on backwards. 3. Lastly before you put the sticky things on place them where you think they need to go and check to see if the door is flat. If you have molding like me I turned the thing sideways so half of it found a solid surface. The metal buttons (black) are to replace the silver ones that come with the anchors. I only had to use 4 and it doesn't wiggle at all. I really like this. I didmt use the 2 pieces which I assume are to make it easy to lift a basket off the rack. I plan to get one for my bathroom door. ... show more

There can’t be any lip behind top of door… I thought I had a ‘normal’ pantry door- see pic. This over door hook is just too thick for what I have. (I do have super thin hooks for shoe bag over similar door.) I’m thinking the heaviness of this would require these thicker hooks though. The product was packaged well and looks super good quality if you have a door it works with. I liked it so much I considered using over laundry door, but washer:dryer sits too close to doorway and shelves of this unit would keep that door from closing. ... show more

We downsized to a ranch bungalow-sized home after retirement, Always looking for ways to "compact" storage solutions. This was one of our better choices. It helped organize all the small items in our pantry on the door, easy to find products, holds a lot of small items at your finger-tip level. Had a slight problem because we have 9-foot ceilings, and this kit was too tall for this 5'2" gal, but hubby is inventive and figured out before we ordered the kit how to "drop" it lower on the door. I've had these shelves in my pantry for a month now. They are great! Very sturdy. I like that you can move the shelves around easily or take them off to refill a shelf and then put it back. They hold a lot of weight and keep us organized!
