I am highly satisfied with this purchase! Excellent quality winter coat, especially for the price! Very warm! We live in Minnesota, where the winters get coooooold! I just purchased it this fall, so we haven't been able to try it out in the extreme cold temps yet, but I can tell it's going to keep my son warm all winter. The hood is detachable, there are interior and exterior pockets to keep your belongings safe and dry, and the interior lining is so soft and warm! The zipper runs smoothly and the velcro holds strong. I think it's nice that for how warm it is, it is not super thick and bulky. My nephew loves his new coat! Colorado temps are dropping and this coat is nice and warm for colder days. I wouldn't wear it on our coldest days (20° and lower) necessarily, but it is surprisingly thick and the inner lining is soft. He wears a 12-14 or a boys large and the 14-16 (using the size chart of large) fit him perfectly. Color is just as pictured! Might go back and buy another color..great value! ... show more

I bought this jacket for my son for our camping trip to the mountains. He is 6 years old and the 6-7 size fit him perfectly. He was warm and comfortable in the cold weather. He also loves that it has a compass built into the sleeve. I let him choose with color he wanted, and he chose this really cool green design. This is the second year that I have gotten my son this jacket. It's very soft inside and he loves that. He also enjoys that he can take off the hood whenever you would like so it's not just hanging there. It is wind resistant and keeps you nice and warm.

We haven't used it as yet. However, it seems as though it will keep my little one nice and toasty. Excellent quality! Thick and very well made. Has straps around neck to keep the cold out. My son is 6 years old and I ordered a medium. It fits him with a little room to grow.
