There’s a bottom stop where the swing arm meets, but the swing arm mount is flimsy, so it’s always moving away from the wall and completely missing the bottom stop. I have had this in use for less than a year and it already is loose to the point that you have to be careful not to knock the roll off. Really, how hard of a concept is it? It is a pivoting bar that just has to swing around and hold a light weight roll of paper but that seems to have stressed it to the point that it doesn't line up correctly on the catch pin anymore. ... show more

Before I bought this I read the reviews and saw a lot of people saying that it wasn’t staying on the wall or that the arm wasn’t swinging very well. I fixed that. How to fix the problem of it falling off: Well, they didn’t know that you have to hammer the anchor in WITH the screw and then immediately turn the screw so that the anchor activates behind the drywall which in-sets the anchor holding it in place. You will see that this happens because the anchor is embedded into the drywall. It takes a few second before this happens. Do not over tighten the screw and anchor. Then you can take the screw out and install the rest. To fix the arm not swinging well: After you have the anchors and frames on the anchors there is a big screw inside the main action that you can un-twist (lefty-loosey) and it will twist more smoothly once totally installed. ... show more

Cheap finish. I ordered several moehn bath fixtures in this finish and they all arrived with scratches in the finish. Definitely didn’t trust it would stand up to daily use of brand new in the box the finish was so easily scratched.
