Price for product excellent and installation easy. Product was a bit lightweight, but it should not be an issue for at home use in our situation. I would purchase the item again. I did have one screw to round out the cross for the Phillips head. Back screws in and out when it slows or resists and be sure to lube them. Clean drywall dust out when going through wall or open just drywall hole up for screw to pass easily through without collecting the dust. I pointed screws up, down and straight to insure none touched each other going so deep. ... show more

Excellent quality and finish(different model - has knurled finish which increases grip surface), ideal length(different lengths available), reasonable price. Direction are good. Slight issue - difficult to mark position of fasteners on slippery tile surface. MY solution - I used painters' tape to temporarily secure bar while checking for equal distance from each wall and level position. With care, a little patience and time, correct spacing and level will be achieved. ... show more

The grab bar was a good purchase and was fairly easily installed after locating studs which are on 16" centers and the grab bar is 18" long. However the mounting rings have several access holes for bolts that can hit the studs or at least part of the studs. Might be better if the bar was 17" overall instead of 18" Anyway it has worked satisfactorily so far. ... show more

Installed the 18” bar at a slant spanning two studs. Took a bit of effort to line up onto studs but it fit well. Studs were 16” apart. The attachment screws were hard to get in and stripped the heads of half of them. So used decking screws longer than the damaged ones and they went in easier.
