Lots of space for a streamlined record player, records, books and other tchotchkes. The only thing we’ve noticed after a year of use is that it scratches/scrapes very easily if you’re sliding things around or using any adhesive on the shelves.

The product is very easy to assemble and no parts were missing. It only took me thirty minutes. The box did not include very many extra pieces, so bear in mind that if you buy this product, maintaining an attentive eye on all the pieces is highly recommended. The retro look and the color of its wood stain is hard to miss. It carries a very premium and enticing look and it ties up my apartment living room quite nicely. Realise that this television set airs on the side of minimalism and simplicity. It's a look that would best land itself in a smaller room. That is to say, it's very small. That is good for me anyway because I live in a small apartment, but for others, atleast, it mismatch your other furniture pieces proportionally. But I'm not saying that it's microscopic, please do not get me wrong. I recommend you really take a hard look at the dimensions of the TV set before you purchase it is all. The price is so low and it is easy to see why when you look at what the product is made from. Only the legs of the TV set are made from wood. And it is important that the underside and the backside of the TV set remains hidden from view- these sides are no embellished with a plastic wood stain cover like the rest of the TV set. Consequently, those sides are very becoming. Additionally, to the ocd person, it's obnoxiously painful how not flush the sides are. What I wanted was a perfect oval band of wood, like one solid piece carved into a ring. Instead, it's kind of like this awkward, wood substitute sandwich. I'm not entirely sure how to describe it but the pictures should definitely help explain what is meant. Does it do a good job supporting the weight of my television? Absolutely! I would recommend only a TV, however, because the materials used to make the pieces that assemble into the set are not wooden materials and are weak. If you were to jump on the set, it would undoubtedly break instantly. I want to point out that quality materials such as oak or spruce would do well to remain unaffected by such hopefully rare events. Does it maintain balance? Yes, perfectly balanced as all things should be. Under the weight of a television, especially if placed on top of a frictional surface such as carpet, this television set does not easily budge for anything even if kicked or nudged. Under the right supervision, this TV set should last you a long time. I don't believe it is very valuable at all, however. You must understand it is pretty much of no consequence in terms of intrinsic value. You should be able to resale it if you wanted to someone on Facebook Market place or Craigslist. But other than that, realize you're buying a trifle. You cannot resand, stain or paint it. You cannot even use it as firewood. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble. Great quality in materials and design. I've put a lot of furniture together and this was an easy project. It's particle board BUT it's much higher quality than IKEA. Steady quality legs.

I love this unit but one of the legs is bad. I don't know if it was stripped or what. Even the mounting unit was hard to screw on (front right) and when screwing in the leg it immediately just turned loose unlike the others that took a long time to turn and tightened completely. As a result that front leg is wobbly. I think it will be OK once the shelf is full but I worry about moving the unit or filling it too much and it's a bummer as it is brand new. I'm not returning as this was a bit of a pain to put together. It really is beautiful though and has a fantastic mid-century modern look and wonderful finish. I think we just got a faulty leg.
