This is the second set of these I have purchased. I got the first set a couple of years ago and recently broke two frames. My fault they broke, not a problem with the glasses. I have them scattered all over the house, in the car, in my purse, etc. I love the spring loaded arms, because if they are not on my face they are on top of my head. They stay put. I haven't tried the gray ones at the pool because I already had some others that are actually darker, but those are getting old and may need to be replaced if I continue to be clumsy. ... show more

I needed a prescription strength that was hard to find. I found these glasses to be well made and comfortable. Each pair comes with it's own case and a nice size cleaning cloth was also included. I used to buy dollar store glasses which are ugly and easily break. I wanted a few sets of glasses to strategically place around the house for when I need them. I have one pair in the shop, one in the living room, and one in the kitchen. I wanted glasses that were sturdy and didn't make me look like Louis from Revenge of the Nerds. Color choice was also somewhat important, I don't want to walk around wearing pink glasses. These glasses are sturdy and well made, even the pair I keep in the shop hold up well during my woodworking adventures. A good amount of lens cleaning wipes is utilized in my shop, but I have managed to avoid scratching or breaking them.
