This is a solidly built shelf with integrated coat hooks hidden underneath. Included are 3 wall anchors and screws. The bag that these are packaged in are kept in place with double sided tape. The adhesive on this tape was something else and it took a lot of effort to remove it from the shelf's paint. Not shown in any of the pictures on the amazon listing or the product packaging is the included piece of hardboard. The slots that are cut into the board, along with it's overall shape, seems to imply that you are expected to screw the hardboard to the wall and then attach the shelf to the board. The board has two uncrimped rivet nuts that are placed in the same location as the holes in the shelf. In theory once you screw the board to the wall you could bolt the shelf to the board via these rivet nuts. The are a few problems with that though. 1) The rivet nuts are uncrimped, so there is nothing holding them to the hardboard other than friction. 2) Crimped or not, these rivet nuts would require you to cut holes in your wall to accommodate the amount that they stick out from the board. One might think that flipping the board around would solve these problems, but no. The metal is far thinner than the depth of the rivet nuts. 3) There are no included machine screws that would be used to screw into the rivet nuts. The included screw are much too thin and are not machine screws. There are no included instructions, not that I would really expect instructions to be required since it's a simple shelf. However, with the strange hardboard and rivet nuts I worry that someone is going to install the shelf in a way that will result it falling off of the wall. Ignore the board and rivet nuts when attaching the shelf to the wall, preferably into studs, and you should not have any problems. ... show more

I really like the shelf itself, it’s sturdy and looks sleek. The only issue was with the drywall anchors and screws it came with. It included three anchors and three screws, but only one anchor actually worked. Since the shelf needs two screws for it to hang, I reached out to the manufacturer to see if they can send replacements. Hoping they do, because the shelf itself is really nice and I’d like to keep it. ... show more

We bought this for my son because he is running out of room as he grows bigger and bigger. He is 16 years old and just got his drivers license. He likes the little shelf to put his keys on and he had the hooks filled up with his hoodies. I like the shelf more than I thought I would, it has been a huge space cleaver for my son in his room.
