This is an excellent book, well written, with clear, step by step directions for eleven projects. It comes with a cd that includes the lettering fonts and designs to complete each item. There’s a good discussion of stabilizers, and the book is very helpful regarding specialty fabrics like toweling. Several projects are finished in the hoop. I love the designs on the CD that accompanied the book. Book was easy to understand and each design has detailed instructions on how to make each one. Great book.

I have purchased many In the Hoop projects from PicklePie designs. They always turn out great. I knew I could not go wrong in purchasing this book. There are some great designs included with the book as well as very helpful step by step instructions complete with full color pictures. Lisa also gives direction as to hooping and proper stabilizing for excellent results. A section on applique and a very nice monogram are included as well. I am sure this is a great book, but when I received it , it was used and sticky, and the cd was missing. None of that has to do with how good the book is. Make sure you order one that is new.
