For me, this was the perfect boot. I got the burgundy in 8.5 which is my normal size and it fit exactly how I wanted it with room in the toe. I liked the color and the square toe. It is very comfortable to walk in and the sculpted heel is really cute. I love these boots. They're timeless, sturdy, well made, and they look pretty expensive. There is one issue though, if you aren't pretty thin then the boots may be too small on your calfs. I would say I'm the widest that could fit. I weigh 150 lbs with most of my weight being in my legs, butt, and arms. If you weigh much more than that or have very large calfs then I would say these aren't for you. I also noticed that these boots run a little big. I can usually wear between a 8 and 9. I got them in an 8.5 originally and I had to go down to an 8. I could have probably fit into a 7.5 but I didn't want to risk them coming in too small. The 8 fits well. Tldr, the boots are very cute and I would highly recommend them if you have average to slim calfs. Go with whatever your smaller shoe size is and maybe consider sizing down. ... show more
