TL;DR The 17” monitor is far more sleek and stylish. If you’re on the fence about which size to buy, go with the 17”. In December I bought the 17” and was so impressed that a couple months later I bought the smaller version to be even more portable. The 17” was sleek and lightweight but I had trouble getting it in my bag or having enough room on a desk or tray table next to my 17” laptop. The 17” monitor is otherwise perfect, though - quality unboxing experience, plug & play set-up, minimalist design. Vibrant display, useful cover/stand, no logo, modern look and feel. Just a really great form factor. Enter the 15” monitor. Being nearly 1/3 of the price makes sense when you see these two sides by side. The 15” is like from a past generation. It’s clumsy looking, thicker, and not cool at all. The display quality is roughly the same but I hate the frame, the logo, and that it’s thicker than the 17”. The placement of the ports is also not the same and the buttons are very outdated. If I didn’t have the other size to directly compare it may not have bothered me so much but I just couldn’t stand the 15” and gave it away. It’s like the 17” was made by Steve Jobs and the 15” was made by Dell circa 2003. ... show more

Something the description doesn't say is that this isbt really a monitor, it's a screen. The difference is that your pc or device won't recognize it, it will only duplicate your display onto the screen. This my be useful for presentations, but not much else. If your looking for a second monitor to extend you PCs display, this isn't the product your looking for. Kind of a rip off in that department. ... show more

Settled on this travel monitor and really happy with my purchase. PROS: - easy set up. Plug the cord into your laptop and connect to monitor, which then turns on and is powered through your laptop. I am no tech wizard so simple was necessary. - brightness toggle on the left. I am currently sitting under a BRIGHT skylight and have no issues. - lightweight and slim. I am currently traveling internationally with both a laptop and this travel monitor in my work bag. Barely noticeable that I have an additional screen.
