    • Crucible too small
The crucible that came with this furnace is way too small.I tried to melt a batch of scrap metal,and it just didn’t fit. The furnace ended up overheating and failing to melt the material properly.You’ll need a much bigger crucible if you plan to do any serious work.

    • Overheats and shuts down
I’ve used this furnace a few times now, and it consistently overheats. After about 15 minutes of operation, it shuts down automatically, leaving me with half-melted metal. This furnace is unreliable, especially for long-term use.
