I was surprised when I opened the box and so the product. Is so elegant looking and well-made. The craftsmanship is superb. These hangers are just okay but nothing special. They were created with macrame style knots without true quality macrame cord. The fibers are a cheap cotton twist (think string-like mop strands) that get snagged easily if the cord is briefly caught on something. I added my own knots to all of the tail strands so they will not unravel more when handled or cleaned. They are not like old-style traditional macrame artwork, but I did not expect that anyway when ordering, though they initially looked better in photos than in real life. The presentation was disappointing. I am an artist and multi-skilled craftsman myself, but there were no comparative artistic benefits to this design collection over any others I had viewed and considered getting. They served a quick purpose, but I would not consider them gift-worthy. ... show more
