  • Excellent supportive running shoe
Size: 11.5 Color: Stormy Weather/Silver
My son-in-law runs daily and will wear no other shoe. He has very wide, high instep and most shoes will not fit. My daughter says his gait is such that he wears a hole in the sole under the metatarsal on one foot within three months. This shoe at least lasts that long. Others are done in a month. It is supportive enought that he does not have sore instep. He has a standing order and I gave him a pair for his birthday. Not cheap but along the price of Hoka, New Balance, Brooks, etc. ... show more

  • Wave creation 20
Size: 12 Color: Stormy Weather/Silver
So far he has not worn them enough to review but he did have to size up 2 sizes. They run small and they do not have widths. He has a wide foot and they fit well. I have worn the women’s for years and they are my go to running/walking shoe. They are well padded and the frame of the shoe gives lots of support. I have a medium wide foot at the toe area and a slender ankle. Normal size in shoes is a women's 8-8 1/2 and I take a 9 1/2 in Mizuno ... show more

  • Fantastic shoe - runs small
Size: 13 Color: Phantom/Castlerock
I do a LOT of walking and have gone through many a brand and model of sneaker over the years. This is my first pair of Mizuno and will not be my last. They are old school as far as weight and fit. A bit on the heavier side but extremely supportive and comfortable. They also appear to actually have a sole that will last more than 6 months. The only note I have to make on these is you may want to go a full size larger than normal. I wear a 12D in literally every type of shoe I own. I had to send the 12D back as my toes were touching the front of the shoe when standing up. I ordered a 13 and they fit perfectly. ... show more

  • Something's off...
Size: 12.5 Color: Stormy Weather/Silver
I've purchased and worn Mizuno shoes for almost 20 years. This is probably my 15th+pair. Something isn't right with these. I've had all models from the Wave Prophecy on down and although these are high quality, they do not feel "balanced" in their footing. I had hoped they just needed a good breaking in but, unfortunately, after a month they still feel like they aren't a proper pair. Not going to return them but will probably avoiding purchasing online. They also came in a generic shoe box, not one from Mizuno, so I'm unsure of their story before reaching me. Ya win some ya lose some I guess. Love Mizuno though. Just a bad pair. ... show more

  • Cool shoes
Size: 9 Color: Black
My work requires me to be on my feet all day, the cushion on the shoe platform is amazing, especially the heel. Would definitely buy another pair.

  • Hole after merely 3 months
Size: 11 Color: Black
I bought a second pair of the same model, and in previous I had a hole in the same place. I thought that's an accident. But once it happened in the second pair I tend to think that's a design issue. And I wear Mizuno for 10+ years. I am not a professional runner, so that's some production fault or design issue 😕 ... show more

  • Best running shoe (to date)
Size: 9.5 Color: Black
I am no light weight runner, BUT a chunky 50+ year old 205-210 lbs soccer referee in Houston area. Fresh out the box I wore these shoes AND ran easily 20k steps in the morning and another 14k steps in the evening (refereed in 2 different sites), and my feet (and knees felt great). Little did I know that season would be my busiest doing high school, and after all was said and done with high school as well as middle school and youth, that 5 month window (mid December to mid May) I walk/ran close to 600 miles and before the soles started to fall apart, I was closing in on 800 miles. No these numbers are NOT made up and in one week I had 111k steps or close to 49 miles, see image. ... show more
