Great shoe out of the box. These are not a shoe for walking or just wearing. They are designed for running. It’s been several years since I’ve run in Mizunos. I remembered them running a little small, but these are true to size (I wear the same size in Hokas, Asics, Saucony and Altra). They have a roomy toe box and the upper stretches to accommodate any swelling. The cushioning is super plush, but the plate gives plenty of support through toe-off. My one complaint is the lacing. The last eyelet put a little pressure on my ankle, and its design does not allow for another lacing pattern. After a few runs they seem to have broken in, or my foot has adapted to the fit.     • Incredible running shoes
After running almost exclusively in mizunos years ago, I had gotten away from them while, but after reading some reviews and seeing these on sale I thought would give these a chance. Right out the box, I must admit I didn't live the Neo Vista. They felt a little unstable and the heel felt weird. Even after my first running I was not terribly impressed. However once these bad boys were broken in, they have really come alive. They are definitely a dedicated running shoes as they don't feel comfortable doing anything else. I have to admit they make running at a easy to moderate pace feel effortless. I am able to just gobble up miles especially on the treadmill with these shoes. For easy to moderate pace runs I honestly don't want to run in any of my other shoes. I even ordered a second pair, which I have bot done in a while, because I like these so much. I loved the asics novablast 3 through 5, but these blow them out of the water. They are almost on par with the superblast 2 IMO at half the cost. Highly recommended ... show more

Fits great - I think the shoes are true to size. The cushioning is very good for short runs (2-3 miles / I haven't tested further). This shoe looks really good.

If your running shoe size is 10 or above, consider measuring your foot before ordering. I bought my usual size 11.5 (I should have gotten size 11 in Mizuno for the Neo Vista) and was able to make them work since they are easy running shoes. They are super comfy and well cushioned with a slight bounce. I only ran 6 miles in them so far, but that was enough to know they earned their keep. ... show more

My husband has been wanting to start running so I got these running shoes for him to try. It's hard to find shoes that are comfortable for him as he has wide feet, so I was taking a gamble on these since a wide width size was not available. For context, we got size 12. He reports that overall; these are really nice running shoes. They are a bit tight, but comfortable otherwise. The tightness came as no surprise though since we really needed a wide. He has never had running shoes like these before, so we have nothing to compare them to, but they are taking a little bit for him to get used. They definitely have a lot more spring in their step compared to regular running shoes. Other than that, they appear to be well-made, high-quality shoes. He also really likes the vibrant blue color. Great shoe! I always love mizuno shoes for running and this is definitely an upgrade to the mizuno inspire wave 21. Highly recommend. They feel super light, bouncy, and it does assist with speed. I will be using this for the LA Marathon.
