Needing reading glasses after cataract surgery, I soon learned that those from the discount stores would not suffice for very long (less than a week actually) for reading, needlework, or other chores such as those requiring using a knife or scissors. Once again after reading reviews and searching on-line, I settled on these MIYUI reading glasses for several reasons. The first being the case that comes with the glasses. It resembles a cylinder, matches the pattern of the glasses, and is made of a durable sturdy plastic into which the glasses fit snugly offering protection from damage wherever the glasses may be. The frames and case are quite compact and will fit into any small space of any type of carrier whether tote bag, gym bag, briefcase, purse, clutch, and even an evening bag. The case also provides safety to the glasses in the console or glove compartment of a car. The second reason is that the lenses in these glasses are very tiny enabling one to see close up with ease while looking farther away by just looking up with the eyes. The lenses are plastic, but there is no opacity, film, or dullness. Noted in the ad is that the lenses are blue light protective. The frames seem to be well constructed (for an inexpensive pair of nonprescription glasses) with arms that open and close easily. They rest gently along side the head without causing pain, redness, or irritation. The bridge sits comfortably on the nose, and thus far they have not slid down my nose or caused any type of discomfort or irritation. The lenses are plastic, but there is no opacity, film, or dullness. The third reason is that they are just plain cute, stylish, colorful, and most of all fun! For the cost one can order multiple pairs to have one in every purse, bag, or room. With the glasses are available in 8 different strengths and 9 different frame patterns there is a style/color available for every taste. These small readers have been a giant in my life (really). They are light on my nose, attractive, don’t slip, clear lenses, and other features that I love. The holder protects the readers and prevents smudging. I have 4 pair and just ordered 2 more!

Magnification is sharp. Style is great. Only downside is the packing of the glasses in its case was so tight, it warped one of the pair and they sit askew when wearing them. Afraid to try to straighten them as they may/may not break.

I love these readers. I've been wearing them for over a year and find them not al excellent readers but very convenient and compact. I don't need distance viewing so these fit my purpose perfectly for glancing at price tags and small print. The cases are perfect size for smaller handbags. I am going to buy myself another set since they came out with some very nice new fashion frames. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.

Had cataract surgery but needed reading glasses. These are comfortable and perfect for watching TV and looking down at your laptop at the sametime. Plus with the sturdy case they are easy to slip into your pocket or bag to take with you. Will buy again if lose one or both.

They are colorful, come in a very small, cute case which is nice for small handbags, but they are loose and ill-fitting. It’s really too bad cause I like their looks. Would not purchase again.

Shopped specifically for the readers with the shortest lenses I could get. I'm tired of reading glasses that are so tall I have to dip my head down to see over the tops. So I was glad to find these, and now I don't have to move my head at all to switch from looking down at my Bible to up at the preacher during church. Super lightweight, so I'm a bit surprised I haven't broken them yet. But they've been surprisingly durable. I'm about to order another set in a lower strength for computer screen distance usage at work.
