I really have to say I wasn’t sure about buying a formal dress on Amazon for prom at the end of this month, especially for a curvy plus size teen. I’ve heard horror stories about buying formal dresses and them coming out all wonky sizes or poor quality, etc. But I saw it was Prime, and they offered free returns, which gave me confidence to try it. I took a chance and ordered true to size, since that’s what I read it fit, and I’m SO glad I did. Y’all! This dress is absolutely stunning and perfect. We got the pink, but the other colors would be nice too. It’s like a chiffon type feeling material on the skirt and a lacy overlay on the bust. With the flowly A-line, It’s very flattering on curvy sizes, which can sometimes get difficult when people take smaller-sized designed dresses and throw more fabric at it. I don’t usually leave reviews on Amazon, but I was so very happy with this, and I have such a happy daughter, I just had to! I would say it fits true to size. It’s a teensy bit long for my daughter, it drags the floor maybe 2 inches barefoot, but she’s about 5’5”, so that’s normal for her. We aren’t even going to need to alter it!!

This dress was a huge disappointment. It looks nothing like the photos and is not true to size. I was really excited for this, thinking I finally found a dress for an event which is now in a few days. We are back to square one :(

The dress fit well, it left enough space so it wasn’t tight. It’s beautiful but I coughed and the zipper ripped open in middle of a wedding. Which I don’t understand why it wasn’t tight on me. I’m disappointed at the poor quality in the zipper that it could easily break open like that. I’m 5’2 and it was also extremely long for someone of my height. I was excited about this dress and made me feel beautiful at first but after the zipper breaking I was disappointed.
