I got this off a recommendation of best bands for surfers because I am going on a trip to do some water sports and I was looking for something secure that dries fast. I hated how the standard band that came with the watch has one weak pop closure and holds water against my skin after even just washing my hands. I've been wearing this new one for a few days and I love it! I am a very new watch-wearer and have very sensitive and delicate skin so I was a bit worried about the reviews that said it was too rough but I haven't found that to be the case at all. I love that it's nice and tactical, heavy-duty materials, dries in 20ish minutes, and looks good with any outfit.

I love the color and look of this band. However, I wasnβt a fan of the two strap loops. I removed the second metal loop, took out the stitch and cut off the left over canvas loop. Now itβs exactly how I like it.

Buy with confidence unless you have super sensitive skin. I got the black and blue pair. Some of the negative reviews are true but you just have to look at the short comings and deal with it. I've had similar type of band on other than apple watch. I've worn watches since I was 11. My first watch was a Timex with a twist-o-flex band. 47 years later...graduated to apple watch with almost a dozen different bands from leather to rubber to SS and now nylon. I will be as objective as I can. I've worn these for about a week but I did "soften" them up through 3 wash cycles. I laundered them with my towels on heavy duty cycle on HOT. The number one negative review on these bands is that the band is stiff and can be a bit rough on the edges and will be rough on sensitive skin. This will soften up with frequent wear. I've speeded up this softening process by soak in warm/hot water and work the band when it is wet/submerged. I then put them in an old sock and tie the open end and wash on heavy duty cycle on hot (3 cycles). The sock protects other stuff from getting snagged by the clasps. This will remove residual chemicals from the manufacturing process remain with all new items that can cause some people to get rashes. I'm on the 5th hole from the end. This makes the 2nd loop not necessary (picture #2). I will remove this with a pair of dykes. I would have like the loop to be the same nylon material. I don't like these hoops but they work. I've got slightly bigger wrists than average so the holes/spacing is right for most wrist size. Still warm here in CA (87Β°F) so I wore this swimming. About 1/2 hour after swim (blot dry with towel on my wrists) it is practically dry. Also wore it to the gym a few days ago, dries quick but I would advise rinsing it as you will have dried sweat on your band. Much better than rubber watch bands (I have all types of bands for my watch, this is now my favorite). This blue is lighter than I would like but I knew that when I ordered. Next will be other colors, buy all colors at once and save money if you want a variety. They are quick change so matching your wardrobe is easy if that's important to you. The band's thickness is on the thin side but this is nylon, a very strong and durable material. You don't need a lot of thickness for strength and the thinner gage will allow faster drying. I've inspected the stitching, holes and edges with a jeweler's loop after the "softening" and after a week's use and convince that they will last a very long time. I've had good results with this type of band on non apple watches. Enjoy your new band(s). I should have opted for the four pack but will be back to add more color to my collection.

I like the look of it, but I had to lightly sand down a sharp interior edge, and itβs a bit difficult to put on. The part that goes into the hole to adjust the size, doesnβt line up, so everyday, you need to struggle with it a bit to get it in. Then there are two loops that hold the end of the band, and it often misses the first one. All my other watches took 2 seconds to put on, this one a bit more fussy. Not a deal breaker, but a bit of a pain.
