I bought this for my kid's birthday and I had to return it for obvious reasons. After I downloaded the app on my phone, created an account, and entered all my personal information on the device, the robot started acting up. I restarted it thinking that it would solve the problem, but instead I got a message on the robot's screen that says, " your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and will not boot. Visit this link on another device g.co/ABH" I did as instructed and I got shocked at what I read. I called Misa's customer service for an explanation and the agent told me that he was going to send me a link through Wassapp for me to click on it, so he could see what I was talking about. I told him I wasn't feeling comfortable and he assured me that everything was OK and that was the only way he could help me. I told him that I was fine and I hanged out. I proceeded to request a refund through Amazon. I was so sad, this was a birthday gift for my kid. I had to take it away from her and explain why I was returning the robot and not replacing it with another one.

I am impressed with the Misa communication abilities! After setting it up, I was pleasantly surprised by its user-friendly interface and how easy it was to navigate through the app. I was having trouble connecting to YouTube but a quick email to customer service and the issue was resolved promptly. Misa's knowledge base may not be as extensive as Alexa, but it still offers a variety of helpful information and fun games, like rock-paper-scissors and my favourite is playing blackjack with my voice. And while it doesn't have voice recognition capabilities like Alexa, it still provides an enjoyable and interactive experience for the whole family. I am happy with my purchase and recommend Misa to anyone looking for a smart and capable home assistant! It's amazing how it responds to voice commands and acts like an Alexa. The controls in the app are user-friendly and easy to navigate. I was having trouble connecting to YouTube but a quick email to customer service and the issue was resolved promptly. Misa's voice recognition has been a big plus, picking up commands with ease, and it's exciting to see that it continues to improve day by day.

The Misa robot is definitely an upgrade from other robots. The set up was simple and, the instructions were clear and accurate. The display on the screen is clear and bold. You won’t have any issues reading or identifying displays on the screen. It is re-chargeable, once it’s fully charged, it lasts for 8 hours. There is also a short video on YouTube demonstrating how to set up your robot. Misa, or how we like to call ours Teddy, has various types of entertainment and learning games for my younger son. He enjoys every moment discovering the features on his Misa. There’s a karaoke app that my son likes to use, it is entertaining and allows him to be creative. It also comes in very handy for game nights. One of the amazing features of this robot is that it moves on command, it can rotate in all directions, it dances, and the wireless feature allows it to sense obstacles in its way. Misa robot can be controlled remotely, send messages, and make video calls. It can be used with or without Wi-Fi, although, with Wi-Fi you get access to more of its features, such as downloading apps from iOS and google play. The possibilities are endless with this new generation robot. We love our Misa!

As an experienced computer scientist I find the Misa robot to be extremely user unfriendly. It was very difficult to even register her. The set up asks for an email address but when it asks for your password - a set of numbers shows up with no ability to put letters in. Her "keyboard" is poorly designed with the small numbers close to the letters and you find yourself many times having to redo your info as a result. Questions and answers were not that well done as well. The voice was ok but many times would just not answer your question. I look at this as a "beginner" in AI or like Pong hoping to see improvements in the future.
