Last Christmas I spent so long agonizing over which cash register to buy for my kids for a little shop I was putting together for them. Almost a year later, this has held up so nicely and still gets played with regularly. The pushable buttons are so fun and we love that the kids get to make the “beep” sound instead of the toy doing it for you. They love the scanner and the credit card/swiper that comes with it as well. The paint has held up great and hasn’t chipped at all. The size fit perfectly on the Target Hearth and Hand market cart I got for them to use it with, I just got glued some felt pieces to each corner on the bottom so it could sit up a little higher and be able to open and close with it sitting on the top of it. I can’t speak to the paper money, as I made some money out of felt instead. Overall, a great cash register that will hold up nicely and the price is great too, especially for such good quality.

My kindergartners love this cash register, but it broke into a bunch of pieces after they inevitably knocked it off the counter. I was able to hot glue it back together, but I would have liked for it to have been glued together in the first place.

I like that it’s wood and doesn’t make noise because my child doesn’t like toys that make noise. The coins seem to be made from plastic and wood and the “dollar bills” seem to be a paper/ plastic combination. There aren’t separate spaces for each but my child didn’t care. I thought it was well made.

I love wooden toys for our kids, but they are expensive! This brand does a great job of providing high quality toys with muted colors (another must for me ha) and at a much more accessible price point! Highly recommend.

I should have taken previous reviews more seriously. I read several reviews that said this was not sturdy and they were right. The first day we put it to use in my classroom. It was broken into five pieces but I was expecting that could happen and other reviewer’s had said hot glue it together. So I got out my hot glue gun and glued it all together. Two days later, it was back to being in several pieces but now the boards were peeling away from the paint. I wish I had spent a bit more money on a sturdier cash register. While I prefer wooden toys that foster imagination I think in this case I would’ve been better off with plastic.

Unfortunately for us ours came in a damaged box, some dents and a few paint chips. Therefore I don’t see the paint holding up to well long term. But our kids took a liking to it immediately so we’re keeping it.
