I accidentally purchased a pair of the fake-fur lined ones to replace my old ones first. Horrible product. Minnetonka should not be putting their name on those. The pictures look very similar, but they are not the same product. THESE are the ones to buy. Not only do they have genuine sheepskin lining, but the soles and overall build quality is 10x better than the other ones.     • Shoe Lace Broke After Just Two Weeks of Minimal Indoor Wear

These moccasins cost nearly $70. The color was nice and the fit was great. They were comfortable and were just what we expected. Until the lace on one of the moccasins broke after just two weeks of minimal indoor wear. We've had Minnetonka moccasins for decades and have never had this happen. It makes me wonder if this pair is authentic Minnetonkas. Now the shoes are pretty worthless because they can't be tied and the fit isn't great on the one shoe. Will call Amazon but since they've been worn am not holding out much hope. ... show more

I recently purchased the Minnetonka Men's Golden Tan Sheepskin Hardsole slippers for my husband. We've both been wearing Minnetonka hard sole slippers for years, around the house and in the yard (and occasionally to the store!). Our slippers get a lot of wear - daily use - and we consistently get 3-4 years out of a pair before needing to replace. I was happy to find this version of the men's slipper is available in wide widths, so I can order the true size without having to go up to accommodate width. The slippers are a bit snug out of the box, but past experience shows they'll be super comfy after a few wears. Super quality moccasins. The materials are top notch. My only complaint is with the sizing. They Do Not have half sizes! I am a half size and reviews suggested to order the next size up. I did and they are too big even with socks on but the next size down would be too small. Crazy not to sell half sizes when half the population wears them. If your going to import your product you should at least have a grip on quality control and ensure the sizing is correct. I couldn't even get my foot in the same size I've been wearing for 20+ years. I'd gotten a pair of these for Christmas nearly a year and a half ago and I loved them. I'd worn them just about every evening when it was cool/cold. When COVID hit and I started working from home they were my main footwear for the better part of 4 months but then the wool wear was just too great. My heels, and sole area we're down to leather, still comfortable but not ideal. I tried the cheaper version (the non sheepskin) and I found the size too small and not nearly as comfortable so I replaced them with the real deal. I bought these a year ago to add to my collection of moccasins. I alternative to another pair daily. I typically wear for three hours or so a day. So very light use over the last year and I stopped wearing these over 4 months ago. I'm disappointed that the sheepskin is completely gone in the heels of both shoes and the sheepskin is matted and bunched up in the rest of the shoes. I bought a new pair of synthetic sheepskin four months ago to replace these. At $75 I expected much better. The picture shows my old synthetic pair that I have been wearing since 2018, these with natural sheepskin, and the new synthetic ones that I bought last May. I have worn the natural sheepskin moccasins before and they lasted for years. ... show more

Minnetonka moccasin slippers are wonderfully comfy and that is why I have purchased them again and again through the years. However, I had a bit of frustration with this latest pair of moccasins. Minnetonka now sews a production label on the inside of the moccasin tongue (the label was not there on earlier purchases). My foot was getting irritated from the label. I realized that my skin was having an allergic reaction to the label material. I decided to cut the label out of the tongue, but the stitching thread they used on the label strong and difficult to cut through. I finally got the labels out, but it too me quite awhile.
