This is a really fun little model of a 1911. While I’ve never owned a 1911 specifically, all the parts I know to be there are there and they work like the real thing. This is a great little training aid for someone that doesn’t understand firearms and might be afraid of the real thing to start - it teaches the fundamentals of the slide, slide catch, magazines, etc.

I got this for my husband and before he even got it all the way out of the box he knew what it was. He really likes it! You load the rounds and they cycle through but do not project, but they do eject. Feels good quality and is fun to fidget with.

This mini metal M1911 has a nice size and weight to it. Functioning magazine, slide, and hammer. The black finish is even and blemish free. It also includes some oil, 5 projectiles, and a cleaning cloth. I’ve never had a M1911 so couldn’t tell you exactly how much the details match, but it’s a worthy as a collector piece or desk piece. Makes a cool gift with the case and all.
