Yes, I strictly chose this candle based on the presentation because I love the green color of the glass, and the various green and white stones embedded in the upper layer of the wax. The name on the outside of the glass jar refers to the Mediterranean so I was surprised to find the scent listed as Rose Ebony, which I am not familiar with. I live in a Mediterannean climate and there are so many drought tolerant, wildly fragrant plants here; I thought this candle might have possessed some of these scents. There’s lots to like about this candle—and nothing to dislike really, it’s just a very nice, basic candle. I love the little stones embedded in the wax. They create a bit of interest even when the candle is just sitting on the shelf unlit. I received the ‘Green’ candle which is sort of a pale pistachio, a lovely muted color. The ‘Mediterranèenne’ scent is interesting and soothing and nicely fills the room. The candle might be considered a bit smaller than a ‘typical’ candle, but IMO this is well-reflected in the price. This candle was a pleasant surprise. It burns well, has a pleasant scent, and is economical in my opinion. When I first opened the product I had my doubts because the instructions were for a reed diffuser. Thankfully I found the proper documentation by turning it over. Why a candle need instructions is beyond me but they do have some good recommendations to prevent tunneling, etc. The rocks are a curiousity and appear to be solely for decoration but they do cause uneven burning. I don’t know if this will become an issue later because I’ve only had it burning for around 3 hours. One of my pictures is soon after lighting and the next is several hours later showing how it burns. On that note, It appears that the candle will have a long burn time based on how much has been consumed so far. In summary, this candle appears to function as advertised and has a very pleasant scent. Is it the finest candle ever made? I don’t think so but again, based on the economics combined with the quality, I rate it at 4 stars. ... show more

These smell really good. What drew me to these of course was the crystals, I love candles & crystals together so I had to try it & when I got it open I was so pleasantly surprised by how nice the scent was that I couldn't wait to burn it. Although I'll admit it looked really pretty with the crystals on top so I kinda of didn't want to at the same time because it was so pretty. So far I've only burned it for about an hour & it so looks pretty full so I've fit a good amount of burn time left. Lavault makes the best scents and best looking candles of any brand I've experienced so far hands down. The scents are very clean and not at all over powering . I feel like they use very high quality oils and wax for their candles. The candle is a bit small , but everything else is top notch.

This candle has a beautiful scent with a clean burn, but I have struggled to get this candle to melt evenly. I followed instructions of burning the candle for only 30 minutes during the first burn to keep the surface of the wax melting evenly, but was not successful. The center of the candle has become a deep pool of melted wax. Yes, I used a candle snuffer and trimmed the wick for the second burn. I'll still burn it because it smells amazing and I love the look of it, but the uneven burning is disappointing. ... show more

I was surprised with the size of this La Vault candle. It is much smaller than other candles I’ve ordered and purchased in the past. That said — I cannot remove a star because it is very pretty. The lavender smell is strong (which I happen to like) But — it is the stones that are floating in the wax that give it a unique giftable touch.
