The media could not be loaded. I thought these might be the 'cat's meow' for doing some hobby, craft work, or similar projects but I just cannot 'warm up' to something so poorly constructed. There is at least 1/4" play in the main jaw due to the fact that the 'keeper' clip is placed that far away from the head jaw when closed. (see video) Beyond that the operation of the threaded clamps leaves quite a lot to be desired as well. Some operate too loosely and some spin like they have sand or grit on the threads. I'd definitely pass on these.

I'd always rather have too many clamps than not enough, and I have gotten some limited use out of this set. I really have to emphasize that their usefulness is limited, because they are smaller than described and would be more useful if that were not the case. The opening for clamping to a tabletop maxes out at 1-3/8", not 1-1/2". The jaw will open to 1" only if it is holding on by the screw's last thread, and can really only hold securely when tighted to 3/4" or less. They are nice to have around and work well for what they are, but would have been much more versatile with just an extra 1/2" of length on each screw.

I got these vices for jewelry making, sometimes you just need three hands. They work great for suncatchers and wind chimes too. When I hang them to get the dangly parts the right length and spacing, they move around at the slightest touch. With these vices holding them securely, it's so much easier. When I attached the first vice to the worktable, it seemed kind of loose and sloppy. But it's fine. The moveable jaw fit is not as tight as the big vices out in the garage workshop, but that does not affect the clamping ability. It probably helps keep it clean - no lubricating oil needed. These vices are much better than spring clamps for holding a part just where you want them. I got a 4-pack so I could give a pair to my husband for using with his dremel tool projects.

These mini bar clamps rock, absolutely love them. They're a good heavier duty clamp and work well for smaller wood working projects, the clamps rotate easily and once clamped stay in place as expected. They feel great and the quality was far better than I was expecting. Overall, these are simply fantastic mini bar clamps, if you're in need, I highly suggest these!

These are very useful for any small work you may have to do. since these simply clamp to a counter top or sheet of plywood or whatever, they are great to have and use near where they are needed. I can use these for crafts / art and even working on woodworking project.s

My desk is about 1.75" thick and these things open just less than that - maybe 1.5". For what they are they work great - they're tiny little vises (I wouldn't call them clamps and I definitely wouldn't call them bar clamps), meant to hold tiny little things, and they do that job well. As others have said, there is slop in the jaws when they're fully open, but that goes away as you tighten them. I haven't gone all "Mongo" on them so I don't know how durable they are, but they're all metal and for what I need them for (holding small parts so I can use the Dremel on them and that sort of thing) they're really good.
