  • Have pump, going to travel..
Cool. Yes, it’s a bit loud. However, from reading an abundance of reviews and having similar, but larger, pump in my car, this is simply the norm. On the plus side, unlike with the car, the volume in a bike tire is far less so you don’t suffer an extended period of time listening to the melody of the pump. Unit works like a champ. Hopefully it lasts. There are a lot of options out there and this one got good reviews at a much more reasonable price point. It will not take up much more space than my CO2 inflator and cartridges. I typically carried two cartridges, so a third flat would mean walking the bike. If this pump gets 4 fills, maybe I’m in better shape. Time will tell. A third or fourth flat on any ride may indicate it is a nice day for a walk anyhow. The seal between the valve adapters and the pump is something I like on this unit. Is it a real concern? Not sure, but some online reviews suggested problems with a small rubber o-ring on the male adapter being problematic if it degrades, breaks, or gets lost. This unit has a larger rubber seal around the female connector on the pump. Larger surface area seal and looks like it shouldn’t ever simply break or disappear. This is going to be for my bike and random other stuff where digging out a larger bike pump is inconvenient or even won’t help. I have a tiller and a wheelbarrow that my floor pump will not work well with because of how the valve stems are short and at weird angles to the wheels. The extension piece with this unit makes that issue obsolete. It’s light and compact and pushes air effectively. For the price, which on Amazon was about 30% lower than what I saw at other sites, I hope to get more than my money worth here. Lastly, I saw some posts where people were confused about how to change from bars to PSI. Pretty easy. Double click the (-) button to switch back and forth. It is in the instructions on page 6. Good luck reading the manual without a magnifying glass, the print is clearly not meant for those of us without eagle vision. Snap a pick with the phone and blow it up. LOL I’ll end where I started. Cool. ... show more

  • The end of the manual pump era! A road-side lifesaver.
This portable inflator is an absolute beast! If you’re riding 700c tires (anywhere from 28c to 35c), this tool is a total game-changer. I’ve been stuck on the side of the road with a flat several times, and this pump has saved the day every single time. It’s reliable, fast, and takes all the struggle out of roadside repairs. It’s incredibly lightweight and slim enough to disappear into a jersey pocket. The battery life is also impressive—I can get several full fills on a single charge. In fact, I love the precision so much that I’ve ditched my floor pump entirely and now use this for all my pre-ride top-offs! ... show more

  • Nice pump
It works very well and inflates quickly. It is loud as others have said, but that doesn't bother me. The main issue is that the battery life is poor. It doesn't take long to pump my tires though, so it's just fine to me.

  • Finally, the 'Holy Grail' of portable tire inflation for EVERY bike!
This thing is awesome. Longtime cyclist here who, over the years, has experimented with various portable pumps searching for the holy grail of pumps.. this might be it. The assortment of really good fittings alone would have been worth the purchase price. (I recently bought a press-on presta fitting for one of my twist-on pumps - and that was $20 all on its own). PROs: [1] The battery charged up fast (much faster than I expected), and lasts long enough to pump up multiple tires. I don't feel the need to carry backup CO2 canisters, inflator with this. [2] Comes with an excellent array of fittings. Comes with a flexible tube (use is optional) with a screw-on Schrader fitting that rotates smoothly, a press-on Schraeder fitting, and a press-on Presta fitting (I just paid $20 for one of the latter a week ago). The fittings can be screwed (quickly) into either the tube or directly into the pump body. The pump body is small enough that I didn't need to use the hose on any of the bikes I tested it on. It's super quick to switch between Schraeder & Presta. The fittings are very light and screw on smoothly. It's also useful as a pressure gauge. [3] This thing is light and small. The pump with the Presta fitting attached weighs 124g. 2 of my CO2 canisters (without the inflator) also weigh 124g. The volume is ~ the same as a tiny CO2 inflator + 2 canisters. My standalone pressure gauge for the fat bike is 126g all on its own. My roadie emergency pump is 90g, but I would never reach for that unless I was out of CO2 canisters. My non-roadie portable pump is 185g (199g with the separately-bought press-on Presta fitting). [4] 'Set-it-&-forget-it' convenience. You set the desired pressure (this was easy..holding down the +/- buttons speeds the scrolling, so it wasn't a nuisance to switch between the road bike and fat bike), push it onto the valve, press a button, and wait (~maybe a minute). It auto-stops when it reaches the set point. [5] Much, much quicker than even the best portable pumps. (And I've used many purchase specifically for efficient use for particular bikes). CONS: [1] It is (very) noisy. I would be hesitant to use it at home in an apartment depending on time of day, but wouldn't consider it a problem outdoors. [2] Slower than a full-size floor pump (but I didn't intend to use it for that purpose anyway). I just put an order in for a second one as a gift. I think I've finally found my 'Holy Grail' of portable tire pumps. ... show more

  • Works well so far.
Nice little pump- really only tried it for topping off tires and I don't know if it could fill a fully 29er tire. It is small easily packable. I don't know if it would replace a standard mini pump if I had an extended overnight ride. The adjustments and auto-stop work well. The included bag is a bit of an afterthought and the adapters could have been designed to stack together with the hose to keep everything tidy. As is, it would be easy to lose some of the necessary parts. I would ziplock it then put it in the carry bag. ... show more

  • Super effective
Wow! Great price for this little pump. I expected it to be louder based on reviews. It’s not quiet, but don’t let the sound deter you. I’m happy to replace one of my CO2 cartridges with this little thing. I love that I can set the pressure
