This stacking baskets are exactly what I have been looking for to organize my sewing and crafts table. I don't need them as a sewing machine stand - the sturdiness is great for small items like scissors, box of bobbins, small boxes of fabric clips, boxes of presser feet, measuring tape, rotary cutter, hand sewing kit, and too many things to list here. So many things that I have to reach for many many times that they get lost and cluttered in a drawer. The drawers that slide out aren't made of flimsy mesh, so I don't have to be concerned that the point of my scissors will make a hole in the baskets. Also the holes are not so large that my pens and pencils will fall through. It's not at all wobbly or unstable. It's light enough to move the entire thing out of the way when I need more room. Moving it without it shifting, dumping all my stuff, or falling apart is easy. I like being organized at my sewing machine. However, I could use these in my kitchen for appliance accessories, spices, produce, baking supplies, and etc. I could use these baskets in my bathroom, or by my bed to hold my crochet accessories, a ball or two of yarn, and a small project. Truthfully, I had this storage unit in different rooms, on different shelves, and in different cabinets and almost couldn't make up my mind where to place it. Other brands have been a disappointment, so I only purchased one. But I have already envisioned buying at least ten more in the future. It's a relief that my search is over now that I have found this. I should mention that I love this color. It goes well with stainless steel, black, grey, and hot pink that I have for shelves and decor throughout my apartment. ... show more
