I tried this repellent because the neighborhood cats kept coming into my garden, and since I started using it, I’ve noticed a big difference. The peppermint scent is fresh and natural , not too strong and it fades after a while but still keeps cats away. I like that it’s a safe option without harsh chemicals. It’s easy to apply and also works well on the patio and outdoor furniture. I recommend it if you want a natural way to keep cats out without harming them.

DO NOT USE THIS INDOORS! This product smells vile. It will not only keep cats away but any visitors or unwanted family members. So bad. There is no peppermint smell, just a very strong moth ball chemical type of odor.

I have been liking these because they are made of essential oils. That it has helped keeping the stray cats off my yard. They are so easy to use. You can use them indoors and outdoors. They have lasted me even with the heat and rain. It’s even safe to place in flower beds.

We just started using these peppermint pest deterrents and so far, so good! No stray cats so far and I’m convinced it’s keeping spiders away too—after all, they really hate the smell of peppermint. If you want something natural and low-maintenance to help reduce pests, this seems like a great option.

The description says Outdoor and Indoor but the scent is a bit too pungent for indoor in my opinion. I can smell it across the room and it is not a nice smell. Up close it makes my eyes water. It does not smell like peppermint at all. Another review mentioned it smelled like moth balls and that might be right but quite a bit stronger and more chemical smelling. Every cat is different but this did not deter my cat in the slightest. When I held it near her to see how she would respond she clearly didn't like it and went away. However when I put it where I didn't want her to go she went ahead on over and continued to eat the plants while standing directly over the smelly thing. Overall, I would not recommend this for indoor use and as with anything for cats wouldn't assume it will work for your cat based on others' reviews saying it worked well for them.

These are some stinky balls! I highly recommend opening them outside and placing them out there as soon as you receive the package because these bad boys are strong. Definitely seems to work as I haven’t seen any cats hanging around lately either. It does come with bags for the balls which is nice.
