    • Most definitely better than the USA Customizable Case that came with my 28-Piece Set.
While Blow Mold Cases have their drawbacks, and the hinge pin in this one is only a plastic pin, I have to agree with other reviews that this model is a much sturdier case than the newer poorly designed Customizable Case sold in the USA separately and included with Saw Sets. At least the hinge is a moving hing and not a flexible plastic hing that bends back and forth until it breaks. This is separate hing parts which moves over a plastic center pin. Guessing that Plastic Center Hinge Pin can be replaced with a metal rod should I later need to do so, but for now seems to work fine as is. The USA design has removable center pins that can fit in various holes on a grid in the back (bottom inside) the case, that is supposed to mate with dimples in the top half of the case, but does not make very good alignment collection, leaving saws rattling around. Even though those can twist and lock into the bottom half of the case, the pins can still bend at angles after Saws are stacked on them and miss the dimples in the top half of the case which is loose enough to float around a bit, not properly aligning up with the mating edge of the other half of the case. With the USA Customizable Case you have to manually move the case around a bit to match the edges of the other half of the case before latching. That is not so with this European Model which always matches the other half of the case being a more rigid design than the USA model, so latches very nice. The 2 different layers of Blow Mold Design with shaped inner layer walls makes for a very rigid design compared to the thin walls of the USA Model. With this case, while not customizable, nicely holds all 28-pieces of my set, and even includes 2 of the 3 arbors that came with my set and comes with 2 extra Pilot Bits and Allen Wrench. And no saws rattling around in this case. Also appears Latch holds tighter than the Newer USA Customizable Case. Until Milwaukee redesigns their USA Customizable Cases, I much prefer this model, and can not understand why they are not sold here in the States and I had to place an international order at a higher price to get one of these. For just a Case with Arbors and Bits, seemed a bit over priced, but if you can afford it, because of the more secure fitting and not having to worry about customizable pins missing the dimples in the lid, for me it was worth it. I only took off 1 star due to the steep price and the plastic hinge pin, but other than that, seems like a fairly solid blow mold case and my saws fit better in this case. Only had to figure out which saws best fit where to get the case closed. I made a list of what fits where and printed that out and folded it up inside the case which shuts well when saws are in best arrangement for lid to close without forcing anything. Another photo of 28-Piece Set in this case helped get them to fit right. Except for the price, I recomend this to the USA Customizable Model. Ordered my set on eBay which had photo of this case, but actually came with the Square Customizable Case sold in USA. I definitely wanted this style case after reading other reviews about how poorly designed the Newer Customizable Cases are, and having received one of those newer cases, I have to agree. That lid was a loose fit, and really nothing to lock in the top of the customizable center pins to keep from flopping around. This European Case has different set indents in the top of the case to help reduce saws from moving around much. Overall, a far superior Model than then Newer Customizable Design available in the USA. Very satisfied with this style case that photos said I should have received with my order, but most likely stock photos, and not photos of actual product. ... show more
