this is a solidly built tool, at a very reasonable price. This is not the hydraulic version, so the implication is that it is loud. It is not, the noise level is quite acceptable and not particularly noticeable to me. Plenty of torque.

The fact it is so light means it gets used more than I expected, I have a bunch of the bigger ones both battery and air, but if I am working on smaller stuff this is now my go to. I had the m18 surge impact driver which lived a very hard life. Used and abused daily it finally started to give out after 6-7 years…. Debated getting the same one or this one but decided on this one instead… this one blows the surge model out of the water, it’s way more powerful! Not even a competition, if you’re debating between this and the surge just get this. It is louder than the surge model but it’s at least 5 times as powerful. Absolutely love this tool!
