I've used it many times to remove lug nuts on cars and trucks and it works great for that on the #3 (most powerful) setting. Setting #1 (least powerful) works good for re-installing to about 75ft-lbs, then torque. Removed an Axle Nut, but the torque spec on the new one was only 100ft-lbs. Would not break loose the two big Strut bolts, but I had trouble with a long breaker bar on them. It is much lighter than the High Torque version. One big issue I have is the pin that grabs the socket hole is way to aggressive! I have to use a small screwdriver to release the socket if I happen to hit the hole. I've filed the pin down a bit, but it still really grabs. I think a "hog ring" would be better for me. ... show more

This is a Great 1/2” Battery Impact Wrench. Having it use the same batteries as my other Milwaukee Tools is a Definite Plus. This was bought as a “Bare Tool Only Item”, so “Battery Life” was not an appropriate rating selection. Neither was “Stretch”. I rated it a 4 Star, because I have only had it for a short time, and cannot rate the “Durability”. Milwaukee Battery Tools are a “Bit Pricey”, but I have several different tools that use the same 18v batteries, & all have been very durable & have held up very well. This thing is a beast. And in a tiny package. I lift trucks and lower cars for a living. And this thing does it all. It gets into right spaces and hasent let me down yet. The ho 6.0 battery surprisingly last all day. But i did buy 2 extra to have a cycle and never have it dead. Only small problem is the pin. That thing won't let a socket go for anything. Other than that it is a dependable tool any professional would benefit from. ... show more

I love Milwaukee tools and this one is no exception. Even though it is the lower powered version and still has enough power to do pretty much anything I need. I have not yet attempted to remove the Lugnuts on my Ford F250 but I would not be surprised if it was able to remove them. Seem to have a lot of power for being the lower torque model ... show more

    • Works fine but a bit concerned of its outward condition.
No battery included as was described. Bare tool only. I was surprised to find the red box completely destroyed. The delivery packaging however was un damaged. I also noticed the text on the back of the tool were two different shades of white. Split where the two pieces of the case come together. Looks like it may have been a refurbished tool. There were a few cosmetic scratches on the head but nothing else. I took a chance and used the product. It seems to work fine at this point. But a bit worried it will quit sometime soon due to the fact it looks like it is used tool or has been dropped by the looks of the box. ... show more

Perfect amount of power in a compact size and shape. We have several of these in an industrial setting and use them all day, every day. We replaced all of our ingersol air impacts and never looked back.

Great impact wrench. A little heavy but compact, powerful and well-built. Easily removes wheel lugs on the lowest setting; I was waffling on going with the mid-torque vs. high-torque version, but since I generally work on cars and not heavy-duty trucks I think this version will be enough for my needs. For a long time I planned on setting up my garage with a compressor and air gun, but this allowed me to skip right over air and go straight to electric - at likely a significant cost savings. ... show more
