    • OK I didn't want to like this, but this combo kit is great.
I have a lot of Makita 18v LXT stuff. Drill, driver, electric chain saw (which is a best by the way), 7 1/2 circular saw, etc. And a bunch of expensive LXT 18v batteries. OK so why did I buy a Milwaukee set? I have an RV and any who owns one knows you need to be handy & able to fix most stuff yourself. Typical RV shops are now charging $130/hr for even simple repairs. That's in the midwest so I'm sure is more expensive on the east & west coast. The Makita stuff is actually super. Powerful long lasting batteries, etc. But the stuff is heavy. RV'ers also know space and weight is the name of the game. This Milwaukee combo kit uses the smaller M12 2.0 Red Lithium Fuel cells and the form factor of the drill/driver and impact driver is remarkable small & light. I had bought the Milwaukee M12 Fuel rotary tool, with the smallest M12 batteries. I found it plenty powerful & long lasting enough I don't use my corded Dremel anymore. So this combo kit uses the same M12 tiny batteries and includes one of them AND the larger MC 4.0 battery. That's $80 worth of batteries. If it is all it claims to be, that is a real value. So far I am very happy with is combo set. Comes with its own Milwaukee bag & charger for $166 bucks. Both units are powerful. PRO TIP: I know the lure of the much cheaper knock off batteries. I've bought them before for my Makita stuff and they don't deliver the same power/amperage as the OEM batteries. I will be sticking with the name brand batteries which deliver better power/amperage and last longer. You won't be disappointed with this tiny combo set that acts like much bigger power tools. And I'm a Makita fan boy LOL. ... show more
