I use to tan all the time a couple of years ago and started up again in November, 2012. Of course, I got sucked into buying a $75.00 bottle of lotion at the salon when I signed up with their "discount." The product I bought was Jwoww Black Bronzer. I loved the smell and it seemed to work fine. For some reason, I did not even think to look on Amazon for lotions. And I was beyond perturbed when I saw the same JWoww lotion on here for $20.00 and sometimes less. So, I swore I would never buy from the salon again. As I went in during the past couple months I would write down what they considered their "high end" $100.00 lotions and started looking around on here. I found most of them on here from the $15.00 - $30.00 range (again, a bit upset with myself for falling for the salon girls). I figured, since they are so "cheap" compared to the salon online, I can afford to actually try different ones. After reading, this one seemed to be one of the higher rated, and most bought. The ones for $100.00 at the salon actually did not have stunning reviews. I ordered this late morning Tuesday (2/5/13) - and received it very quickly (today, Friday 2/8/13, in the morning). I was so curious so I hopped in the truck and went tanning. It was very smooth to put on and I do not use nearly as much as I had to with the JWoww because it is not so thick - I think it is the silicone that makes it easier to apply. So right off the bat, I knew that I would not fly through this product as it seemed with the JWoww. When I got out of the tanning bed, I looked in the mirror and realized I was brown (I already had a very nice tan that I have been working on in the beds for the past few months). But I realized at that moment I was actually orangish from the JWoww - - I was impressed by this color. And as far as the smell, I know everyone's body chemistry is different, but all I smell is Vanilla after tanning. It smells so good still and it has been a few hours. I guess I will know for sure if it happens to be bad after a few more sessions, but I can already tell that it is great. They wanted $68.00 for this lotion at my salon, I got it for $14.95 with free Prime shipping on here. You cannot beat it and it is the same stuff at the salon. Hope this helps! I recommend highly.

OH WOW...Best tanning lotion by far I have ever used and through the years I used a lot...I am just so excited to tell you about this product..by the way thank you reviewers you are the best....I first of all I did not want to write a review until I had a chance to use it a few times to be exact 3... I tan outside I have very fair skin.... I did have a little bit of color before I started using this lotion but after the three times I have this most awesome dark tan... I usually just get a golden tan... but by using this lotion I have a nice dark golden tan... I don't even have a pool I used my sprinkler to cool myself down... I've never been so insistent about all of you using this tanning lotion because it works and believe me I would tell you if it didn't it also makes your skin so soft.. the smell is a sweet tropical... I don't understand why some people said it smelled because mine did not.. it smelled fresh... they must have got a bad batch or something... but anyway I'm really really recommending this product'' UPDATE: I have bought 3 bottles now I've only used one and a half I have to say I still love this stuff... one thing I want you do know is that I am fair-skinned and I have a nice tan and I have not burned at all when using this lotion.. I feel the heat from the Sun but it's got like a barrier or something... I have never had lotion that has done that... anyway I hope you have the same experience.. I went with this level instead of the x100 based on reviews. I do wish that I had gone with the x100 because of how I am able to tan but this lotion is still a really good choice. Starting off, the scent is amazing. By far one of my favorites I have ever had for a tanning lotion. I do agree with other reviews that it's giving sugar cookie scent vibes, even after tanning. This is way better than smelling like burnt coconut especially if you have things to do after you tan. I got this level because I was starting at ground zero. I didn't tan all winter and was pretty pale, but I do get tan really easy. This lotion absolutely helped me get color fast but it's not as dark as I know I can get after multiple sessions. I highly recommend this lotion as a starting point if you are new to tanning or if you are someone who doesn't tan fast. I did like too that it didn't stain my palms too bad. I do keep baby wipes with me to clean my hands with after I applied but even the times I forgot I noticed that my palms really weren't too bad. Even though I was hesitant getting a lotion off the internet, this one did not disappoint, totally recommend

I read reviews and really focused on the bad ones before I tried this product. I want to first speak of some of the reviews I saw that ill answer with my experince. It isnt Build A Tan product those who bought it for that deserve what they got. Smell Im not fond of the smell but its not bad just not really amazing like all the hipe One thing that is cool is i personally find the smell to be unisex (as in it wouldnt be weird to smell like this product being a guy or girl). Does it help? Amazingly!!! Wow I ran out of a 45 dollar bottle I dont have on hand that I got from my Tanning spot. It worked pretty good but due to price and results it wasnt the greatest. I got this product and WOW its great. 20 bucks +- shipped this is an amazing tanning lotion. It really helps with the tanning and it leaves your skin feeling great. Also I find putting it on a day before tanning and the day after really helps with results.
