This is not a regular tanning lotion. Millennium Tanning Insanely Black 60x is a mega tingle product, and it does exactly what a true tingle lotion is supposed to do. If you’ve never used one before, understand this upfront: you will tingle, and your skin will turn red. That reaction isn’t a flaw—it’s the mechanism. From a technical standpoint, tingle lotions work by increasing peripheral blood flow (vasodilation) to the skin. That increased circulation brings more oxygen and nutrients to the surface, which can significantly accelerate tanning. The redness and heat sensation are expected and temporary, and in my experience, they translate directly into better color. Results-wise, this lotion gave me a very dark, even tan. No patchiness, no streaking—just strong results when used correctly. Because of how well it worked for me, I’ve put it on subscription and plan to keep using it. A few important practical notes: Wash your hands immediately after application. Be very mindful of where you touch before washing your hands. If you don’t, you may end up with tingling in places you definitely don’t want tingling… if you get my drift. This is not a beginner product. If you’re sensitive or new to tingles, proceed cautiously. The lotion spreads well, absorbs properly, and feels like a high-quality formula—not greasy or cheap. The tingle sensation is strong but manageable if you know what you’re getting into. Bottom line: if you want real tanning acceleration and understand how tingle lotions work, this one delivers exactly what it promises. Respect it, use it correctly, and it pays off. I was already fairly tan from being in St John USVI for 1.5 weeks. Bought this tingle to keep my dark tan. Just used on lower legs (calf/shin). Didn’t feel anything while tanning, but warm feeling after I was finished. Skin was definitely little red & helped to definitely darken existing tan 🙌🏼

Like the lotion, it spreads and rubs into skin easy, but not a lot of tingle. It gets warm which is nice, but expected way more. After I put it on, I take my hair dryer and help it dry in before I get dressed to go out. Overall I'm happy with it.

Honestly, this review is only for how this reacted to my body. Everyone is different. This stuff made me really sick. I was really light headed and VERY dizzy within just 20 minutes of putting it on. It started burning and tingling my skin really bad. I almost fainted and couldn't drive home. I had just dropped off my boyfriend about 1.5 miles from me and I went to the gym to tan. I got into the tanning bed after putting the lotion on and within 20 minutes I felt VERY ill and knew I needed to get out. I leaned up against the wall and tried to catch my breath for a second, I tried putting my clothes on and then once I got my pants on. I just couldn't stand anymore so I had to sit down for a second. I called my boyfriend, I got him on the phone and my voice was so faint he was freaked out and he ran out of the building he was in and was ready to get to me asap. I managed to get myself up and fully dressed. I cleaned my tanning bed, walked outside, got into my car and turned on my AC. This stuff is scary. I've got issues with heat anyway. I can't take really hot showers. Stuff like that. This stuff just really made me feel like I was going to hit the floor today and I did not feel good at all. It also made my skin VERY RED AND ITCHY! I mean I itched like I had jumped into a ant bed. I won't purchase this again. I'm returning it, tomorrow. Good luck.

Does help develop a tan. Barely any tingle for me and the staining on my hands was horrible. I would include pictures but I finally got it all scrubbed off. I'll use the rest of the bottle but I have to wear gloves.
