When it comes to a barbecue sauce for chicken or ribs, I create my own. Using multiple different sauces. The last recipe is honey. It helps the sauce bond to the meat and this particular one is hot, but not overpowering on the food.

I love Mikes hot honey. I had tried the extra hot before but not the regular until now. The extra hot is definitely extra hot and has a nice kick to it. Leaves my mouth burning alittle after I eat it but I don’t mind because it tastes so good. The regular hot honey is a perfect combination of sweet and alittle bit of heat if you don’t like super hot stuff. 10/10 would recommend this product! I’ve use it on eggs, toast and burritos so far and can’t wait to see what else there is to add it to. ... show more

Very spicy and I loved it. So I actually received two packets of this in a goody bag for a gala I went to a while ago. And when I tried them it was very spicy honey which I liked. I had gone to David Burkes in the lower part of Manhattan and they had this chicken and waffles which was the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever tried. I don’t like chicken and waffles but they made the best chicken and waffles and I think it had to do with the fact that their honey had a little spice cake to it. And this mimics that honey very well except it’s spicier. So if you like spice and sweet then I highly recommend putting this on anything you would put honey on with a little pinch of salt if you want to add the saltines. Another thing that I like to do is put cheese on crackers or Crustini‘s with cheese on top and you melted cheese just a little bit and drizzle and Honey. It’s delicious. I bought this to try that but I feel like it’s a little too spicy for the dish but I feel like if you have someone in your life that’s really into spices like Asian level spicy then they would love this. It’s very spicy on its own and that’s not even trying the super spicy one. That’s just the regular one. If you try the hot one you’re gonna burn your mouth off. It’s extremely hot and spicy.
