This is my dogs' favorite cushion. I had to buy several - not only for each crate, but also for their beds on the floor! It washes well - just throw it in the wash. I do it on cold and regular. Also, it can be dried in the sunshine or outside, but if you put it in the dryer with wool dryer balls (not the sheets - the balls), it puffs up even more. I will say that it is NOT chew proof (chewing dog got his jaws on one and made some impressive bite-marks). Also, I struggled to get bad smell out when my dogs brought this to their baby sitter and a dog peed all over it and it wasn't washed promptly. The pee went deep in: I threw that one away. This is the third crate mat I've bought for our cockapoo puppy. We have a Midwest crate, and this fits perfectly. The first mat I tried shed fuzz all over my house, and was destroyed by normal "making the bed" scratching within a month. The second fell apart the first time I ran it through the washer (as directed on the tag.) So far, this one is perfect. Puppy loved it right out of the box. It feels like the perfect combination of cushy, plush, and padded. It doesn't seem to be shedding at all. I was pleasantly surprised how nice this is for the price - I tried it because of a Wirecutter review, and they've never let me down. Highly recommend! ... show more

This is the second of these dog beds that I have purchased. The first one has lasted a few years for my older dog and still in great shape. I wash it every few months. I just purchased again for my puppy and it works perfectly. It is really plush, so if you have a destroyer of all things fluffy, I would be aware of this. My dogs do not destroy their beds, so they have worked perfect for their kennels at night. Highly recommend! Great bed for a great price! ... show more

In the listing, it says it fits a specific brand of crate, but it fits pretty well in my iCrate 42" crate. I bought this on sale and I like its durability from a cockerpoo that has separation anxiety. He really tosses and chews things in that cage during his panics. The bed sustains its shape and condition. No tears or loose stitching.
