First off, these got delivered earlier than amazon expected, so I was already happy with that, and the custom thank you note inside. Everything was packed well in the box, and in their own boxes (stands, mics). The stands can be a little stiff to pivot the boom, and they feel a tad bit lite, but they seem well built, and they worked perfect. The mic's even sound decent for the price, no complaints so far. We were on a budget and needed them for a festival gig, great addition to our gear.

I needed at least four matching boom stands with wired mics for a presentation, so I found this six unit set from Griffin. I had never heard of Griffin before so I hoped they would be good enough to get me through this one event, but as it turns out, they are a very high quality and I plan on using them for a long, long time! The stands went together well and are very nicely adjustable, the mics sounded great for vocal use, (I wasn't mic'ing any instruments but they'd probably work well for that too). I wanted a carry bag for them, so I searched for tripod bags and found a 36" one that was affordable... however, it only holds four stands & booms with the booms not attached, but since I only needed four for this event, it worked. I'll be searching for a slightly larger carry bag to house all six. Definitely worth the price! :) Oct 2019: The mics all still work great, (except for the one that got dropped by somebody, body cracked but mic element still works), but some of the plastic stand hardware hasn't aged well... I found out the hard way; DO NOT store the booms tightened down, the pivot hardware will bond together and crack apart when you try to release it. All-in-all still a great purchase, well worth the money!

MICS SOUND GOOD, HAVE NOT HAD A CHANCE TO USE THEM IN A LIVE PERFORMANCE BUT BY THE WAY THEY SOUND SHOULD BE JUST FINE. HAVE NOT USED THE STANDS SO CAN'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THEM YET WILL GET BACK LATER ON THESE. CABLES SEEM FINE.NICE PACKAGE.. LOVE-TRUTH-PEACE-FREEDOM AND JUSTICE, LOVE YA, OUT.
