  • Great tire - great service
Style: R19 Size: 235/55R19
Get your tire numbers correct and you will receive a perfect tire! Arrived over night. I was able to make an appointment with my mechanic so within an hour of receiving it, I had a new tire on my car. Tires aren’t stocked so much anymore, but Amazon had the perfect tire at my door in less than 24 hours. It is one of a set of original tires which we love. Traction and quality for the money is perfect ... show more

  • GREAT TIRES so far
Style: black_sidewall Size: 245/40R19
GREAT TIRES so far, Just like any other Michelin product I have used, from sportbike to dirtbike to car and truck tires. I will say I have seen many reviews on other websites complaining about mileage on the MXM4. However, those reviews rarely say WHICH MXM4!!! Wear ratings matter as they have 45,000 mile, 55k mile, etc ratings depending on which you select and the different mileage rating MXM4s may have different load/speed ratings as well as different prices. So, to complain about a tire might be ok but I never take their reviews seriously unless a detailed picture is painted as to the vehicle, driving style, load/speed/mileage ratings, whether correct tire pressures are maintained, whether tires are rotated properly on schedule, and their comparison experience if comparing to another model tire. That being said, my Michelins have ALWAYS lasted as long as I have expected for my aggressive driving style and have NEVER once let me down on any type vehicle. As for these MXM4's purchased here, I will do my best to give a proper detailed report when they wear out. For now, since they are new, I will say they are 245/40R17 94v 55k mile tires at correct pressure settings for the vehicle they are on which is an 09 Pontiac G8 GT with 6.0L motor, RWD. These specific size and model tires grip good to very good in wet and dry, track well in slush, expel standing water very nicely, and are very quiet and comfortable on this particular car. I will try ti give an updated review as time goes on. ... show more

  • Pros/Con
Style: black_sidewall Size: 245/40R19
This was the tire suggested by three local shops for my Hyundai Azera to replace the original Hankooks. Amazon made the upgrade possible with an unbelievable temporary price drop. I saved 40% over local quotes by buying from Amazon and having the tires mounted locally. After a couple hundred miles on Interstate & local paved roads, here are my observations: The Azera is often faulted for “numb” steering feel. These tires correct that problem. I was amazed at the improvement in steering response and road feel. I was over-steering for a while because the car was responding to my slightest movement The responsiveness comes from fairly stiff sidewalls so highway bumps and roughness are more pronounced. The old Hankooks were more forgiving but less controllable and sort of squishy. Although I bought these for all-season performance, they feel very ‘grippy’ on dry pavement while still being very quiet. I do a lot of driving on mixed winter precipitation and believe these tires will offer a safer alternative. Finally, the Michelins have a wide ridge on the outside of the tire that extends beyond the wheel rims. What’s the big deal? I’ve chewed up the rim edges on three 19” wheels because it’s very easy to brush up against curbs. Think parking garage ramps or any curb edges that are more vertical than usual. That damage would not have happened with these tires. Overall, these tires make a car I really enjoy driving even better! ... show more

Great tire. I got them at a steal for 176.00. Cheaper than any wholesale price per tire... So cheap that the bigO tire guy bought them at a higher markup on wholesale. Oh if you've ever owned MXM4, you know these tires are no joke. They put the love of driving back into the car!
