  • How do I count the ways that i love thee?
Mica powders are very potent. You can see the ribbons of color over lapping in lip gloss as you fill the tubes. These are very rich BUT not super light. You can saturate your DIY projects with this as much as you like but the original color is going to stay. they only thing that changes is the amount of product you put in. Wonderful with resin too! I almost cried when I saw the final product. I used some for two of my soap projects and was able to make a 3 tone soap with swirls. The array of colors is broad and you can mix and match as you please. I had some concerns about the "magic" colors, but I realize they are an iridescent pearl color with tints of whatever color is labeled on the bag. I will be ordering AGAIN! I recommend storing them in small containers with an easy screw on cap or with a snap on top (just be careful when you are opening them). The little bags they come in are useful, but eventually you will have to rehouse the powders. ... show more

  • Absolutely recommended. Shimmery and large variety of colors
Color: 36 Colors
I have not used these extensively, but from what I have used so far, it is very nice and I would absolutely recommend them. I got them to use with polymer clay and the mica powders work well with the clay. You get a large variety of colors, a good quantity of each and they are very shimmery. I added a bronze color to a turquoise clay and it works well. The mica powder does shimmer and look metallic. It is almost like glitter in powder form. These were recommended by turtle soup beads from you tube and I agree with the recommendation. ... show more

  • Great micas!!
Love these micas for coloring my CP soaps and my lip balms. My bath bombs are gorgeous when airbrushed using the colors as well. For those of you that have purchased or are planning to purchase to color bath bombs know this...you have to use polysorbate 80 when coloring with mica so it doesn't stick to the tub (EDUCATE YOURSELF PLEASE!) and the color will be pale, not vibrant like lakes or dyes. Great price and product....a little goes a long way. Will be buying more. ... show more

  • Efficient and cute but shimmery & needs new packaging
Got these for my RESIN ART Pros: Beautiful variety of colors, and you get a lot for the price you’re paying, labeled nicely too! Cons: 0 matte shades, these are ALL shimmer/pearlized. The “red” is not as vibrant as in the photo, it’s more of a sparkly pinkish red. No black shade and the “grey” is just straight up sparkly silver. The plastic baggies they come in work well but aren’t practical and I will be moving them into paint pots. 7/10 recommend ... show more

  • A lot more than you’d imagine with endless possibilities!
Color: 50 Colors(0.18zo)
I absolutely love them colors and quantities especially for what I wanted: a chance to introduce myself to these mica powders to play and experiment with! There are a ton of colors and so far for what I’ve tried them with it truly does not take much (it takes tiny amounts) for great results! From enhancing paints, to changing nail hard gel builder to making new eyeshadow colors and more that I’ve actually done! This is an excellent starter pack that will not run out fast! I am so glad I mad the purchase! ... show more

  • Very pretty
The colors are very pretty. I seen I can use them in candles but the color doesn't come up at all in the candle. Maybe I'm just not using enough.

  • I like how they are packaged.
I read the reviews before ordering. I saw complaints about how small the amount of powder. I find with the way I use mica powder - a little dap will do. I brush the inside of a silicon mold and then pour in glycerin soap. Worked great. I like the color range. Each color comes in a little zip bag and then there is a bigger zip bag to hold them all. I feel that the cost efficiency comes in having 24 colors and would be a good starter kit. ... show more

  • Super value for huge variety of colors
Color: 36 Colors
Bargain! I am a polymer clay jewelry artist. I purchased this after seeing a video reviewing these mica powders on YouTube by Susan at "TurtleSoupBeads." The colors are vibrant. Powder comes in clear plastic zip pouches (2"x3") that are clearly labeled with the color name, 0.18 oz (5.1 g) per packet. It is easy to dip your finger, a brush, or a tool into the pouch to bring up the small amount of powder necessary to use at one time. As a contrast, 3 oz (14 g) jars of Pearl Ex brand mica powder costs between $4 to $8 for a single color on Amazon. ... show more
