Lots of varieties in color but the size of the bottles was disappointing. There is a good shimmer but the colors do not shift as well as expected.

I purchased these to get a variety of colour, and was disappointed to get 8 versions of white. Now to be clear No I have not used them yet, however in the picture of the 20 count box I do not see 8 versions of white. I actually went with this box because the picture shows a clear distinct colour pallet with purples and blues. Which only one container in this box has blue the rest (besides the 8 white) are copper, to golden to purples! Again I haven't had a chance to use them so I may be off. This part is an update that I felt should be added. This company did immediately reach out and offered to ship out the colours I was looking for, so I can honestly say they take customers very seriously and I appreciate this very much!

I was so excited to get this set. However, when they showed up yesterday, my excitement turned to disappointment. The colors look nothing like the picture on the item's description page, and only 5 of the 8 jars are named the names of the expected colors. (Although, look nothing like the picture. The other 3 are close in name, but not even close to what I was expecting. (I uploaded a picture of what I got. I turned the jars over so you could see the color, and they are in the order mentioned on the description page) Since color shift micas can look different in the jar, I tried the "blue/cyan/purple", but the color change, while mildy visible was nothing like I was expecting. As that one mostly resembled what was pictured, and didn't work, I have big doubts that any of them will. The quality and quantity of these micas, however, is excellent. The only issue I have is the color. May be I just got a bad batch? I have not used this brand before, so I can't really say if this is normal for them or not. Again, the quantity is fine, as with micas, a little goes a long way. They are also packaged wonderfully with sealed jars, so none will spill out in travel to you.

These little containers will foll you at first. I thought what could I use this tiny bit of pigment for, but a tiny bit goes a long way for great color!!

First I did 3 stars because the picture is NOTHING like what you get. The only color that was true to the picture was the blue. And the others looked nothing like it. Which honestly bummed me out. I have an order I am currently working on and wanted to try a different mica and needed a purple. But now I'll have to find an alternative. I absolutely love micas in general but it's hard to find good ones that come as advertised. I saw someone in another review mentioned they had the same issue but mentioned to try the N2 kit? I'm not sure if it's the correct colors either and I honestly don't have the extra time and funds to re order another mica kit for it to still be possibly wrong. Bright side, the ones I got are bright. They did seem to get a little messy during shipment so I'll have to clean them off and re tighten the lids. I just wish it was the actual Mica that was in the photos. I would have loved this mica even more and given it a higher rating.
