The second pic is after machine washing and drying. I was anxious about whether it would come out of the dryer a wrinkled mess, but as you can see, it’s very fine. I purchased the Medium size (I am 5 feet 4 inches tall and 155 pounds, so not a thin woman) and it fits fine. The sleeves are longer than 3/4 length but not quite full length on me (5’4”) which is handy when using the sink, etc. Of course, they would be closer to 3/4 length on a taller person. I imagine the sleeves of a size Large would be full length on me. I’m hoping that sharing my height/weight and photos will help you to choose the right size. This light robe has a pleasant texture and looks nice. I ordered the XL hoping for the longest possible over-all length of the robe and sleeves, even though I saw no specific measurements in the description. Unfortunately the sleeves were rather short, not even close to my wrists, and the overall length was just below my knees. The XL size here does not seem to apply to length. I am super happy with this waffle robe. It is soft and lightweight, yet substantial enough that it is not to "revealing." It is great for after the pool or bath on warm summer days. Bonus points for not having a chemical odor out of the bag (as so many clothing products do); I feel comfortable using it without prewashing it, a rarity for me. I really love this, it is light weight but comfortable. I did get the XL, because I wanted to make sure it wrapped well, and it does. I am only 5' 3" so it hits mid calf but I imagine it would still be long enough for a person much taller.

Great robe, nicely made. The fabric is thick enough to not see through but lightweight enough to not feel like it's overwhelming. Great to layer over pajamas. Very soft. The belt is a great length with room to tie and still have some extra. Very nice robe for the price.
