Had to remove the old oem clips off my other dash to use this. Also, it covers the top part of my ac controls which is a minor flaw I dislike.

Overall decent product. Wish it came in factory colors. Like other reviews said the clips it comes with don’t fit exactly right nor the ac vents. But it does it’s job. Instructions say to re drill for the ac controls but on my 95 I didn’t have to.

I have a 95 GMC C1500. This was difficult to install. The HVAC controls in that year have a large plastic piece the controls and board sits on, while in the 96 and later the HVAC controls are more compact. My HVAC wouldn't relocate where it should've been. I ended up just squeezing both the radio and the AC controls into the dash. My dash is already falling to pieces from the sun, I wouldn't recommend doing that if your dash is perfect. I painted it with a "medium grey" color to match the stock dash panel. ... show more

    • The only way to go if you want a double din stereo.
Pro: The item fit like it's supposed to for my '96 Silverado and my double din Kenwood stereo. It comes with the clips to install the stereo in the right place. It comes with clips to install dash kit. Con: You have to try to find the closest color spray can so you can spray paint it. I purchased two, one here on Amazon and the other from LMC but still neither was the correct color. They both said they were the right color but still no. ... show more

Easy to install and looks great. This is the second one I purchased. The first one that I installed broke in 3 separate areas. The clips are of low quality. On my second install I decided to add hot glue and bond them together, you will see a major difference.
