Good quality glucose testing kit at a very reasonable price. Everything feels sturdy and well made. It includes 50 lancets and test strips, which is a great bonus, and the compact carrying case makes it easy to take anywhere. Simple to use and ideal for daily self testing.

I had gestational diabetes during my last pregnancy and, now having a higher risk of type 2 diabetes, like to monitor my blood sugar now and then to see if there are any concerning patterns. I find this kit to be a good value for the money. It’s easy to use straight out of the packaging and, although I haven’t set any of my readings (pre/post meal, fasting, etc) it’s nice to have those options if needed. I haven’t compared these to my old kit reading wise, so I’m not completely sure on the accuracy. I no longer wear a CGM, but even when I did these tests seemed much more accurate. The reading devices are easy to load and it provides quick results. Being able to track my glucose levels helps me a lot with my diet and overall health! My only negative is the lancing device and needles. It’s easy to load, but I have wasted a few needles because they just don’t seem to penetrate my skin enough even on the highest setting. I may just need a higher gauge next time. I’ll likely continue to use this monitor but with the lancets and lancing device from my old set, since it seemed to work better for me.
