I bought this monitor to do glucose checks at home throughout my pregnancy. There were some reviews that mentioned being inaccurate when taking multiple readings in a row, this was not my experience at all. I did take several in a row just to make sure this wasn't happening. My best guess is that people aren't always doing the correct procedure prior to taking their blood sugar. There are a lot of things that can effect an accurate reading. 1. Wash hands well and dry them. 2. Get your supplies ready. 3. Clean your finger with an alcohol pad for 30 seconds and let dry by air. Do not blow on the area or wipe with guaze to get it to dry faster. 4. Use the lancet to puncture the skin where you just cleaned. 5. With a Clean guaze pad wipe away the first drop of blood. 6. Fill the test strip with the second drop of blood. While you're waiting for the reading you can add pressure to stop the bleeding and use a bandaid if necessary. Using the first drop of blood or not allowing the alcohol to dry can cause descrepencies in the readings which is an issue if you're using this machine as someone who actually needs it. I was able to use the second or third setting on the lancet depending on which finger I poked. I did not have to purchase additional supplies so I cannot speak to that process. Glucometer is simple to set up and easy to use.

So far the product is working fine for me and everything is easy to use. For the money when you advertise solution as part of the package you would expect just that. Here is a picture of everything In the box as is and it seems to be no room for solution in the box. In the description and the picture they show they might want to remove the solution bottle as it will not show in your order, or at least not mine for the money I spent. Still worth the purchase.
