These are awesome!!! We homeschool and I was looking for a fun way for my kids to store their curriculum, notebooks, pencil boxes, backpacks (for when we travel or have a day out), and a place to keep a "special box" (since they all share rooms). This was a perfect solution for our homeschooling area in the basement and they were very easy to assemble. They are well made too. They may not be quite as sturdy as what you'd find in a school, but they also don't need to be. Lockers in schools need to be able to withstand years and years of kids' use. I am happy with this setup and it is a good value to get a locker at this price. Went together with a little doing, the pictures in the directions should be clearer, but isn't that always the case. I figured it out, nonetheless. My only problem is with the dimensions, I'm going off of memory, but I think it was 15" wide by 18" deep. Ya ok, but they failed to detail and mention that the opening with the door is only about 11 and 1/2" wide. So for clothes and other stuff you can just get it in there, but I was using this for some music equipment to temporary secure it and what I had was 14" wide and won't fit through the opening to access the 15" width inside the locker. So I am letting you know here, if it's 12" wide or more, whatever you are putting in, and can't be turned you are not getting it in. I reconfigured the components I am using so I could still utilize the locker for storage, just beware of the door swing and opening being narrower than the overall dimensions. I hope they update their listing with more explicit measurements, it would have helped in my case. ... show more

We got this for my 12-year-old’s room. It’s definitely great quality, like the ones in school, and it was easy to assemble. We had a hiccup as we were missing the black clips that go in the door to help latch the door and lock it, but customer service was absolutely amazing. They kept in touch the whole time and made sure we got the pieces needed. They even provided a video on how to install the missing pieces when they arrived, making it super easy to fix. Arrived with some damage, but not enough to justify losing the shipping cost to return it. Front leg holes do not match AT ALL, so I just took the back legs off and set it directly on the floor. Not too difficult to assemble, and the legless height is still functional. Probably would not buy again.

Using these for kids backpacks and coats etc. Got tired of never being able to find school stuff in the morning. Con: Does not have a latch mechanism on the doors. The only way the door stays closed is if it is locked. Assembly was a bit of a struggle since I did it alone. Very important that you get the shelves and top aligned just right to have the latches work correctly. Very hard to take apart to fix. Pros: That being said its sturdy and has a lot of space. Way better than any that I used in school. It is being used by a 5 & 7 year old and they have plenty of space for back packs, coats, hats, gloves, lunch boxes, and pencil boxes. My 55" tall black single door locker arrived via FedEx 3 days earlier than expected. The shipping box was made of triple layer corrugated and was in excellent condition. I immediately opened it and found that everything inside was in perfect condition. I am a 74-year-old man with a little arthritis in my hands. I assembled it in 1 hour by myself. The directions are more than adequate. Just remember to focus on the details of which way the top and bottom panels are supposed to face. Also, I found it helpful to secure the top panel to the first side that I fastened to the back. I simply put a couple of bolts and nuts hand tight to stop the side panel from flopping over and potentially bending. I then installed the other side. I am using the locker to secure firearms. Because of that, I installed a couple of hasps and padlocks to provide extra security. (Note: I purchased 90-degree hasp sets; National Hardware N103-291 V34 Double Hinge Safety Hasp in Zinc plated, 4-1/2".) I secured them using the extra bolts and nuts that came with the locker. I also secured the locker to the wall using lag bolts into the wood studs. Simply stated, this locker does all that I wanted it to for an excellent price. ... show more
