I don't do a lot of product reviews, but felt the need to say something about this product and the company. I was nervous about ordering this shelf online,as you never know what your going to get these days, but haven't had a lot of time lately and needed a solution that I didn't have to spend a lot of time shopping for. So I read reviews and took a chance. This product was delivered very poorly by the delivery service that brought it to my house. It was literally thrown out in the middle of my driveway and pieces of the packing were all over from the bottom of my driveway to the top. The box was ripped open and heavily dented on one corner, there was a pile of small metal pieces unceremoniously dumped on the top of the box. Many were heavily dented and damaged. Some of the shelves were literally falling out of the box. I contacted this company right away to explain the situation. They asked me to send pictures of the packing, labels, ect., I was surprised and skeptical when they told me to set up the product and let them know which pieces were actually damaged so they could send me replacements. Here's the thing. Many of what I thought were damaged pieces were actually metal encased packaging blocks. I've never seen such thorough packaging . I can't imagine what condition this piece of furniture would have been in without those. We were pleasantly surprised when we assembled this cabinet, to find that even with the gross mishandling of the shipping company, the actual unit itself was made of very heavy duty, quality metal and was in very good structural condition despite some scratches and dents. Upon opening everything up, my husband was ecstatic to find easy to follow assembly instruction AND all of the parts separated and meticulously labeled to match the instructions. They even included the tools needed (a screwdriver) and a few extra parts for assembly. This used to be fairly commonplace, but in my experience as of late, these little details have been sorely lacking in many furniture items I have assembled. The next thing that struck me as above average was the quality of the paint job. Despite dents and scratches (again, not the company's fault), the integrity of the paint job stayed in tact. Many units would have chipping paint with that kind of damage. This one didn't. Long story, short, once I had it all put together, it still looked pretty good especially considering everything it had been through. So I contacted the company again and told them I would keep the cabinet. They still gave me a refund for the damaged pieces and were very pleasant through the whole process. The delivery service problems weren't the company's fault, but they did everything I asked to make it right and I'm really happy with the structural quality and packaging of this product. Thank you for a great cabinet and a great experience with your company. I would definitely purchase from this company again. They are definitely an above average seller and make a very quality metal cabinet.

I would say the product is well designed and sturdy once together. They mention that it could take two people but one person can do it without a problem. Cut the corners of the package and lay the pieces on the cardboard to protect it while you assemble it. The wardrobe cabinet takes a bit longer than the shelving cabinet because there are more pieces to assemble. I did find a drill, set to low torque, helps start some of the screws. Hand tighten to reduce stripping the hole. Make sure you do level it once it's in position as it does help keep the doors from swinging to much while open. The included screw driver is a plus. I had plenty of parts and a few extra (which were included). There was no damage to any pieces even with small tears in the cardboard. Overall I had a good experience. The one gripe I do have is with the ordering. Amazon indicates a three day delivery window, which is ridiculous if you live in an apartment. I ordered this when I planned some vacation time so I'd be home. It ended up being overnighted and delivered on a weekend by FedEx. Now, my proximity to the warehouse (approx. 50 miles) I'm sure effected the faster delivery time I'd just think that that fact would be taken into account for scheduling deliveries. It would really suck to have been gone for the weekend when I expected delivery the following week.

As I mentioned I got the gift of two dents from shipping; one on front door and one on side panel. Really needed to put it together ASAP, so I didn't worry much about it. Normally I would have dropped one star, but I didn't mind it this time, so I didn't think it would be fair to do so. Goes together easy (45 minutes for 1 person that has a high level of comfort assembling stuff), clear instructions included. Make sure you are close to its final position as you are putting it together because it doesn't like to be moved much. When it moves, all the panels flex, so the hardware (screws) tends to come lose and then it won't be as "tight", if that makes sense. But it's nothing to worry about, just make sure you organize yourself with your tools (a small battery operated screwdriver would make it a lot easier, but not necessary), take your time and if you have an extra set of hands to hold panels in place as you fasten, even better. All in all plenty of space, feels sturdy, and everything lines up well. I would purchase again.

The cabinet came with all hardware and a magnetized tip screwdriver. There are a few extra pieces and screws in case you lose one. There was some minor damage, a few places on the metal are bent but I was able to straighten them. (This may be difficult for some people) The instructions are very good but do pay close attention to them. I was able to assemble by myself but it would be easier with two people; one to hold things while the other drives screws. I used the cross members for the top and bottom to help hold things while I drove the screws.

Amazing packing. Only one piece (the top) arrived dented, but not enough to mess up assembly. Looks classy, well made. Was afraid the doors would be a pain to install, but it was actually the easiest part of all. The instructions were a little confusing (both in certain words and arrows in the diagram), and assembly was not the easiest. That being said, I assembled it alone as a petite woman, so that might have factored into the assembly time. I wanted to give this product a 4.5, but since I can't, it's closer to a 5 than a 4. Amazon furniture is a hot or a miss, and usually a miss, but I'm satisfied with the quality.
